You have it completely backwards- middle class folks aren't usually eligible for aid and there is no way in heck they can divert 1/3 of their household income to tuition.
Another obvious 'easier way' is the speaker.... speakers can readily be used as microphones. I would like to hear the explanation as to why they would use the motor instead..... maybe because it sounds novel?
I think that providing user configurable skins that optimizes for phone, tablet, PC and game console is an excellent idea..... unfortunately Microsoft has control issues and couldn't allow that.
There is no need though for really large lenses though, at least for imaging. You can actually cluster a bunch of smaller lenses quite easily by etching the correct geometry into each individual lenses.
These are terrible options. Who wants a computer in their living room? And what if you don't want to use Apple products? I have several devices already connected to my TV that are perfectly capable of streaming and none of them work with Itunes.
I hardly consider ITunes an option. You have to have itunes on a computer and then remove the DRM to play on your tv... there might be something I am missing but this is not really consumer friendly.
Or why do they even sell DVDs at all? Why aren't these media companies providing timely streaming or download options? I haven't watched a DVD in 5 years.
This definition of what people do with computers is constantly evolving. Who would have thought that my 7 year old computer (i7 950 based system) would still be perfectly usable today?
Counter intuitively, profit caps actually work against controlling costs. If your business is capped at some percentage the only way to increase your profits is to expand your subscriber base or increase the cost of your insurance and with caps you do that by driving up the cost of procedures. It doesn't harm the insurance company's competitiveness as long as other insurance companies are forced to pay for the same procedures, which is exactly what Obamacare does.
I know that before Obamacare I was consistently offered good low deductible low cost insurance at every job that I had- and after Obamacare all that is now available was the high deductible variety that we are now familiar with. I won't be going to the doctor unless I break a bone or something....
And who's interests are the globalists concerned with? Basically it is a consortium of banks that are running things globally. Are you comfortable with that?

Well that is just for games, but seems to have been the obvious way to handle the various desktops for their operating system.

"but it's unlikely we'll see Caltech's research appear in smartphones anytime soon."
I am reading on a phone right now you insensitive clod!

Why don't they use marrow from the people that had the stroke? I don't understand why doners are needed.
After this China lagged behind the western world socially and technologically in just about every measurable way.
Telescopes!
Seeing only the things I am used to seeing?

Not enough people vote, pay attention to or understand the politics of this country.
Is there +1 flamebait? Apart from the political stuff I thought the entropy rocket was kind of funny...

I find the fact that he isn't aware that this argument has been made in one form or another since at least Greek times pretty hilarious.
Seems like this would be applied readily to Amazon warehouses- you could even have drones pick small items right off the shelf.

It's intentionally misleading so some people can make a buck.
We already have a mind-numbing number of laws regulating individuals behaviors. It's corporate regulation that needs to be expanded.

Maybe not but the math still stands even if they are paying lets say a fifth of that.....
The choice in the 90s was to sink capital into automated factories or turn the capital over to investors and offshore.... they picked the latter.
