    Just like CMB https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... scientists predict there will be gravity waves from this event. However none of the current instruments are near to being sensitive enough to detect it.

    They are making very specific predictions about the number and type of collisions they will detect when LIGO comes back online in the fall. That's pretty much the definition of falsifiable.

    Stupid and ridiculous.... they used computer 'simulations' or calculations to model these events and the observed signals were exactly the same. The science behind these discoveries is incredible.... and who are you?

    Yup, I remember installing doom from a half dozen floppies. Even in their prime we hated floppies and wanted something better.

    I would agree that the average IQ of open source users is higher than 'all others'. However the pool of 'all others' is much higher....you have it backwards.

    It doesn't matter- the packages weren't marked hazardous or proper packaging. This is entirely amazon's fault.

    Sulfuric acid will quickly corrode pipes but apparently has an inhibitor that stops the corrosion.

    Seriously? Programming is the trivial part. The further I have gotten in my career the less coding I do- figuring out requirements and how to make business workflows work is the hard part and don't require coding.

    I think that is the whole point here. Suppose Sony sells a 4k for 600$ and continues to sell and support the HD version... the impact on game developers is really small and not a bad deal for the HD users who more likely than not don't have a 4k TV.
