Honestly, the level of writing and character and plot development that goes into some of the best known comics. Spiderman almost succeded, X-men did a pretty good job. Personally, I feel the ones that stick closest to canon are the best, seeing as how the comics have a huge fan base already. I will probably never understand why movie studios feel they can do a better job telling a story then the writers that actually built a huge foundation already. I understand that character development oftentimes need give way to time constraints, but just look at what happened to the Batman series of movies to see what happens when Hollywood gets their hands on a good story and decides that they can do better.
In the comics he's Bruce, in the TV show he's David. Not sure why.
Stan Lee liked names with both initials the same, Richard Reed, Bruce Banner, Peter Parker, etc. It helped him remember what the names were. The producers of the TV show changed it to David, because at the time, they felt "Bruce" would stir up homosexual connotations. In other words, they thought "Bruce" was gay and "David" was more manly. Side note, considering that "David" is the name of the naked statue that Michaelangelo sculpted, I'm not quite sure what they were thinking.
I made a comment earlier degrading Novell, as I remember many a merry day hacking the Novell servers at my colledge, but I do have to say this, I never met a Novell engineer who wasn't extremely smart and well trained. I know the cost was high, but they usually were worth very high salarys, IMO, not like the MSCEs and even the CCNAs recently that I've seen.
I realize that this is late in the discussion and by no means am I knowledgable in RF theory, but what effect would this have on jamming radio transmissions?
That's easy to fix, add the crytogram address to a whitelist. Every spam filtering software I've ever run, including spamassasin (which I like a great deal) has a whitelist option. If you're running some kind of filtering software, it behooves you to keep an eye on what it's blocking, hence, I am sure that people are aware of it and have adjusted their software accordingly.
3.2 I am a Linux/Mac user, is there is version of Locutus for me?.Net was developed by Microsoft, and at the time of writing is only available for Windows, however.Net has been embraced by some in the Linux community who are working on Open Source versions of.Net such as Mono. Once finished, these will allow Locutus to run on non-Microsoft operating systems (we are Linux geeks too - so we won't waste any time once Mono comes of age).
So, if it's homemade, any chance of getting the plans or trying to figure it out? I've got a friend who can mold carbon fiber, I wouldn't mind taking a crack at building one or even a lesser version. How cool would it be to have one of these?
what's a unit without games you can purchase for it/games that come with it?
Uhh, every console that's on the market now? I don't recall my dreamcast coming with games (not that that mattered). Neither did my PS2 or the Gamecube I bought for christmas. I am pretty sure my co-worker's X-Box didn't come with a game either. Besides, it's not like anybody who spends 5 minutes looking can't get every MAME 0.62 rom out there in a few days.
Why would they need permisson of the original rom owners to do this? It's not like they needed permission to make the joysticks. Anyway, I think this would actually be a good idea, but one, is mame legal to sell? Would there be any issues with that? Also, I could see this coming in handy for cabinet builders, instead of specing out a computer, just grab this, grab some roms, and go to town. I am sure you could just insert this in the place of a computer inside a cabinet. They just have to make sure that its powerful enough to run all the cpu intensive roms, like Mortal Kombat 4 and the like. I'll be keeping an eye on it.
In China, when they execute a prisoner, they charge the prisoner's family the cost of the bullet. So, in a way, there is a country that will tax death.
Wonder if they ever thought of taxing the cost of the bullet?

Whatever happened to having "paid one's debt to society"? Assuming that he does in fact, go to jail and serves time, when does the deeds of one's past no longer impact who you may be in the future?
Yeah, but are they getting a blowjob at the same time?

It definitely got me interested in DD as I had no prior experience with that corner of the Marvel-verse.
It's because you have no experience with DD that you thought it was good. Read some of the comic books and see for yourself.

Or you could just install mplayer.

Bye Novell.
Not if you consider that the majority of people in prison have been jailed for
non-violent crimes, such as simple drug offenses.

Quick, somebody start up a web search page. Get bought out for a ton of dough
and retire.

To qoute the movie Armageddon:
"Begging your pardon, sir, but it's a damn big sky."

I absolutely agree with you, I don't support Mono either.

From the article, First I had to decide which reseller of UMG music to use and decided on Liquid Audio's On-Line store.
In other news, Liquid Audio's CEO resigned. Here's the link
