    "exposed to ionising radiation from machines" Those machines are voluntary, you just need to opt out. I have never been through those machines, and I am a frequent flier.

    They need energy ... to power the factories that have been exported from the USA. This isn't about energy as much as exporting production and the associated pollution. Global free trade is the cover story for exporting manufacturing pollution to countries with less strict laws. This is why, as one example, almost all engine blocks are made in foundries in Mexico and then shipped to USA for final assembly. The foundry pollution was exported to Mexico.

    "military funding they don't have to spend themselves?" Spelled N A T O. USA is largest contributor of funding for Europeans. Just the USA people and equipment in Europe is a boost to those economies.

    Having actually lived outside the USA for years, my experience is that people outside the USA have a healthy understanding of how the USA is brutish and overbearing. Beyond that, they ignore the USA and live their own lives.

    Actually, he says most of the federal departments are not authorized by the Constitution and should therefore be done at the state level. If most of the work was done at the state level, we could to states with different policies. Instead, we get the DEA raiding medical marijuana in states. Get the feds out of the way and let the states do most of the work. BTW, Obama is continuing most of Bush's policies and supported the bankster bailouts. Bush III.

    Yes, full body scans of a person are voluntary. Like a stupid test, those who are stupid choose not to opt out of the voluntary full body scan.

    Actually, government can't make utopia. The government running deficits to spend money to pay off campaign contributors is not working. Private people forming groups to fund their interests can have a positive impact.

    Wow, I thought I had wrote that and had to look at the username! TSA security theater is good for the airlines because it removes security liability from their business model. Airlines are immune and we pay for the government theater.

    "You need a license to drive on public roads." Since when did you become a Constitutional attorney? In the USA, only commercial drivers and those who have been tricked into agreeing they are commercial drivers need a license to drive on public roads. The rest of us exercise our right to travel in personal automobiles. The right has been upheld by the federal Supreme Court.     IBM sold processor upgrades this way on their big iron - ship machines fully configured and when customer wants to upgrade just turn on another CPU and bill more $. In my experience this didn't turn on/off software as it turned on CPUs.
