Was Firefly aired on Fox or FX? I never, ever saw it on but I enjoyed the series when I rented the DVDs. I don't have cable, so if it was on FX that would explain why I never saw it.
There are no benefits to that style of "humor." Because there is no substance to it. I'm almost offended that you tried to pass it off as European humor. That's insulting to Europeans!

...and Objective C++ is a framework Apple has for Objective C code interoperating with C++.
"KDE/KHTML guys did a lot of work to let Apple have usable access to the code for KHTML, more than just a code dump"
What work did they do? When Safari first came out the KHTML team didn't even know about it. Apple just grabbed the code and went to work, they didn't need any hand-holding from the KHTML guys.
When the grandparent poster said s long as people keep voting for a party that does paltry little to represent their voters..., I don't think he meant the Republican party. I think he meant the two parties in this country which represent the corporations more than the people.
And who was responsible for the protocol? Apple. I'm really just joking around here. I'm happy that KDE has implemented it. If I ever switch from Mac to Linux (as I did from Windows to Macintosh), I'll probably go with KDE instead of Gnome as my default window manager.
I don't know about you, but I don't consider 66% to be "about" anything. If 66% is all it takes to make "about," then I know a lot of people that will be glad to know they "about" got a 4.0.
The DMCA. Not as bad as the bullshit we've had to put up with while the Bushies are in power, but still bad.
Mod parent up! LOL
I think you missed the spot in that grandparent post that said "half-assed Windows Media Centre."
I hope never. I enjoy my over the air HDTV , thank you very much.

Exactly. I expressed the same lament in an earlier post.
"Inefficient" if you don't value graphical performance.
Mac OS X Tiger could make use of the 512MB RAM. Longhorn will be able to whenever it comes out.

It's too bad these videos are completely unfunny.
That's true. Poor diction on my part.
You're right, it's a fascist conspiracy.
Those aren't photographs. They're illustrations. Does anyone in America understand diction these days?
If a widget includes native code, then it is not considered safe and the user is presented with a dialog.

It was a joke aimed towards all of the KDEers that whine about Apple not giving back to the KHTML team. Even though they do.
That Apple developed.
Man, Windows still can't handle an application crashing? What a POS!
But what has KDE given back to Apple after taking their code?
