"Fire" a headhunter? Implying that you only have one? My experience is that some recruiters are good, some are bad and some are middling. If you're looking for work, I've always found it much more advantageous to have as many applications (to relevant positions only, obviously) out as possible, with multiple recruiters, and to keep track of what companies your application has gone into yourself, to ensure you're not double-submitted. Far more effective.
After all, if vinyl is such a high-density storage medium, where are the vinyl videodiscs with 6-track sound?
Well, it might not exist, but if it were to, it would be a cross between Vinyl Video and an enhancement to Quardophonic audio
Surely tapes can be used in defence against complaints too. e.g. "You said such a liebelous thing, and all my friends heard it", says the person making the complaint. "No I didn't, that could clearly have been anyone I was talking about, here's the tape to prove it".
I've seen a lot of comments here along the lines of "How come this is OK, but cell phones aren't", along with replies "Cell phones are safe on 'planes".
Anyways there was an article in new scientist a little while back about how aircraft electronics can quite easily be affected by cellphone, I figured I'd throw it in here.
This came up in new scientist a while back - the article mentioned a company,
toybuilders, who do this kind of thing to create "custom toys" (action figures that look like you, etc..)
