    The 2nd has this chart https://img.washingtonpost.com... clearly US state that have are higher than those without, like I said it's not deterring every would be murderer but i find it hard to believe not a single person lived because of the punishment

    Lastly if punishment isn't a deterrence why have prisons and fines, you've ever seen someone running around 'cause their library book was due .

    How do you know that ? BTW stats for countries with and without are apples and oranges, even stats for countries with pre and post stance don't count.

    Oh how many times does the try without extensions and a new profile be expressed for it to be done. Fine it's bad that your 10/15 years of extension install uninstall, tweets and upgrade degrades your performance, but not that unreasonable either

    Perhaps occam's razor lands on a 600 billion dollar company can out strip a smaller company. Also your correlation isn't valid because
    a) it's self validating -- this happened when they changed their attitude, something unmeasurable
    B) what was google and MS where doing at the time, that could be the cause
    C) their actions could be an attempt to stem or boast their market share, in response to competition, and not the actions caused the lost of market share

    That's just logic, you could be right but I wouldn't call your "proof" a correlation

    What do you think will happen if I add a new file with the same salted hash?
    What happened to file 1, the new file and what if the collision is for a revision

    Of the popular languages used with real purpose perl python go java c# ruby php which ones used language research crap you are talking about.
    Language research is for academic post doc useless stuff. Real languages that are developed by smart ppl solving real problem embraced by ppl whom buy the proposition
    I don't count c and c++ cause they are pioneers

    I read a while ago that the Australian worker's union is pushing for a minimum wage raise because "families can't afford to go on a holiday"
    What counts in the cost of living seems the vary, in some places its food and housing in others it in includes buying the house and so on as the optionals become someone's essientials

    They are separates issues , one is the content the other the means. Please stop trying to divert the conversation from the content to how it was leaked. Separate things. The how it was leaked doesn't mean the content should be sweeper under the carpet with a salute to the flag and patriotism.

    I'm not weighting into the which is better argument, in saying cause and affect are a data point of strong value
