    You need to look up a little place called the Golan Heights ...

    How about you counter GP's claim by actually naming the dog? Would Israel rather see Assad remain in power or the rebels take over, which is it? Is Israel rooting for Assad and his links to Iran, or is Israel rooting for the islamist rebels and their links to al-qaeda? If you can not name the dog, just admit Israel has no dog in the fight.

    BlackBerry's downfall wasn't having lost a competition against Android or iOS. Their downfall was needlessly making it into a competition. BlackBerry had the opportunity to build and ship the first-ever Android phone. But they turned Google down. Google had to settle for a little known (and at the time not very good) manufacturer called HTC, maybe you've heard of it?

    Same exact thing happened over at Motorola. Same exact thing happened over at Nokia. Three companies at the top of the cellphone world, insisting to complete, refusing to make partners. Three companies sold for scraps. This is 100% a case of management playing macho going all-in and screwing the investors, the employees, and the users. How can anyone not see that after being shown in triplicate?

    You make a good point. I can accept that it's "invisible" in the same sense that a radar "sees". It's still not a cloak!

    You will see him hiding behind a big off-white disc with holes in it. Call me a nitpicker, but to me "invisible" is the opposite of "visible", which is the defining characteristic of what we call visible light. Being being undetectable to 10GHz frequencies, while impressive in its own light (haha), is most certainly not invisibility.

    In Korea, Kim is a surname. Koreans do refer to each other by surnames rather than given names so it gets a bit confusing.
    Kimberley is the name of a place. As a given name it is unisex, though in America mostly given to girls. As of late, the inexplicable popularity of a female named Kim is tilting the balance to make it a girl's name. Same as Paris.

    Why guesstimate solar production? Use NREL's PVWatts application: http://gisatnrel.nrel.gov/PVWatts_Viewer/index.html
    Click on your city. Click 'send to pvwatts'. Enter the solar system size in kW (default is 4.0). Click calculate.
    Depends a great deal of where you live, of course, because energy prices and solar radiation vary quite a bit across the USA.

    Your faith in humanity is heart-warming, but misplaced. As any business owner will tell you, employees steal anything and everything that's not bolted down. I worked at a place that glued the mice shut to keep the employees from stealing their balls (back in the days when mice had balls).

    I'm not going to fault them for including successful games/music/software/authors. Quality drm-free content at a discount and supporting respectable charities is good enough for me. For you, there's a slider you can use to send all your money to the charities.

    I'm a long time AMD customer and a satisfied one. My rig needed a performance boost and an upgrade to a Phenom II X6 1100T could have been just the thing, but AMD stopped making them a while ago, left me hanging. Shopping for a mobo+cpu on a $300 budget was completely one-sided, I'm running an i5 now.

    We just need to make sure everyone reproduces responsibly to keep the population constant, reinvent our technology so it would only depend on renewable resources, put an end to all violent conflicts because the destruction is wasteful, and then... go extinct when the sun burns out.
