    what about organizer/mp3 player and
    picture shower in one????

    all the other ones have to small
    a screen but this one would be
    pretty perfect....

    maybe a special enclosure with
    a double sized foldable screen
    would be even better...:-)

    I WANT ONE....

    got all those pics I can't
    show to anybody unless I run
    around with my laptop...

    mmmhhhh, just checked out the
    specs a bit and this thing
    features a ridiculous 1.5"
    237 x 234 pixels screen....

    that thing should have a
    800x600 minimum resolution
    screen taking up the whole
    back, so it could be used
    as a portable picture book
    as well...

    chees 1.5", my digicam has a
    bigger one....

    floppy, hd???

    we have the spacewalkers setup
    diskless booting over the net...

    imagine the size of the case without
    hd, floppy, cdrom and as another
    poster pointed out, get rid of the
    parallel, serial, ps/2 ports on
    the board and make itself smaller
    too....:-)

    at this point you'd probably need
    a remote controlled alarm sound,
    so you can refind that goddamn thingie..:-)

    tried to plug the damn cable in
    the wrong way (IDE) and one of
    the pins was pushed back into the
    plastic...

    first I actually thought the bastard
    was broken off, but figured won't
    hurt if I try to pull the pin out
    just in case...

    And the sucker actually came out and
    I still use this HD today...:-)

    so, just grab a good tool and pull
    the pin back out...

    first of all I thought:
    Holy Cow, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

    And it was actually the screen
    that got me excited, not the
    keyboard-size! web/text
    browsing would become alot more
    usable as would the terminal!
    (Grew up with big fat monitors
    and hate line breaks...)
    You could actually fit a decent
    amount of characters on there...

    But in the end I think it has
    to do with form factor! If you
    take it horizontal, add the buttons
    on the bottom and the keyboard it
    won't go into pockets anymore!
    (Pockets are pretty darn narrow
    if you think about it....)

    But heck, I don't have frigging
    pockets anyway, so I would go
    for a horizontal one any day!!!
    Sharp are you listening????
    (and could I replace mine with
    a horizontal one???)

    By the way the keyboard is actually big
    enough for me, though I have rather
    small hands for a 6'2 guy...
    Works perfectly for two handed
    thumb-typing!!!!! Never hit two buttons
    mistakingly at the same time as of yet

    you'll have your applications already
    there and will be familiar with programming
    it....

    and on the other hand do you think a
    user will buy anything were there
    are no applications/developpers???
    Just to doubt the developers follow
    users point...
    I think it's a mutual thingie

    Looks very much like it to me.

    If you bother to get red-carpet, their ximian-updater replacement, you can
    subsribe to different channels (basically different software packages they provide
    updates for, like Evolution-snapshots, RHx.y, red-carpet) to update your software.

    And guess what:

    One of the channels is Ximian GNOME 1.4beta

    The fact of the matter is, you either believe that anyone who is a criminal should be allowed to make money off of their crimes, or you are a hypocrite. So what is it? Probably that you didn't read the article. He wants to make lectures about how to prevent intrusion into sites. This has nothing to do with his criminal activities, except that both are made possible by the same thing. He is a freaking guru concerning security and intrusion. While cracking is the 'bad way/path'. Giving this lectures is the good path.... If a master burglar (hope this is the guy breaking into buildings) starts working for a company which is into making buildings secure. Then there is nothing wrong with it, cause who else knows more about the topic???? The same holds for giving lectures on how to make your house less prone to get broken into... so I think it's that you are completly missing the point... and another thing. He did his fcking jail-time and paid for his "criminal" behavior, so give the guy a chance to get a life.... remo
