    For one thing, the general public have never even heard of Linux. Most developed programs are never released for Linux, and it's always a surprise when large, non-opensource projects gets equal attention in both Linux and Winblows. There was no licensed dvd player for Linux for over ten years. Most games never get a Linux version. Let me know if you need more reasons...

    This is possibly the dumbest comment I've ever read on slashdot. Are you saying I should never ever say anything bad about something, if it slightly benefits me personally? For instance, if someone cut your head off and gave me a small part of the money in your wallet? Or if a popular politican was killed, because he/she didn't share my opinion on tax levels? Or if a mod decided to lock your account, because of your stupid ideas?

    We already have advanced traffic monitoring, at least in my city. As soon as I even think of doing anything not pre-approved with my internet connection, the speed drops to almost zero. Or is this one of those newfangled car analogies?

    I'm sorry, I didn't realize the media was always perfect and not required to check the facts of a story. I also failed to understand that they're not required to actually be more than a one-sided press release vehicle. Forgive me also for not realizing that perpetuating an exaggeration is ok, it stops being an exaggeration after the source. end-of-sarcasm

    There wasn't 16k movies, nor 65tb of files. The media exaggerates everything, the only thing they know is that the serverS (note the s) had a combined storage space of 65tb.
