    My main use of Google is Gmail, which is the first webmail client that was worthwhile as a main interface.

    I left fastmail for gmail, the only reason was the price.

    I experienced that one member of the jury refused to condemn even if we had the killers testimony. It is only after being married for a few years that I could understand why he had his doubts.

    An unanimous jury, how do they do that? Elsewhere we vote , 6-6 you're free, 8-4 you hang, 7-5 the judges give a decisive vote.

    E-id, knowing what was going to happen i waited one year to get mine, 40 months later the chip broke, i had to ask pre internet paper forms to fill in a tax form. Replacing it is free if i am happy with three visits to the administration and one month of patience. For 250€ i can get a next day copy. Am i still a citizen without my chip?

    FN seems to have no problemen to create ambidextruous bullpups F2000 and P90. With a military gun good cover is sometimes more important than handedness.

    I agree, same for US and Mexico. Now that the right (freedom?) to hold slaves is similar on both sides, the border set by the Mexican wars has become meaningless. Ok, that's a poor example, but I agree about Korea.

    Space elevator : Initial cost is very very high but once built the running costs are negligible

    Rockets : Initial cost is high but not that high, running costs are high forever, economy of scale will never kick in to any reasonable degree

    Exactly that's also why trains and not planes are such a success in the States.
