I doubt he does, and neither do the ones who modded him insightful. We know so little about ourselves and how our surroundings effect us. This is why the holy books tell us to judge not.

It just makes it easier, and more convenient to have people locked up in the rubber room. Hate the IRS? You're just bitter. We have "treatment" for that now. A little "reeducation" oughta fix you right up. Gettin' close to that Twilight Zone where everybody had to think happy thoughts, or the kid would turn you into a jack-in-the-box.

Not that it's a real issue because there's plenty of arable land that's being used/abused for other purposes, but that feed corn is taking up valuable acreage. Damn near half.

  6. Re:Fuel vs Food on The Great Ethanol Scam · · Score: 1

Food for what? Your cows, pigs, chickens. etc require at least 40% of your corn acreage for themselves. Can't remember what their water requirements are. Are we better off/more efficient eating the grains directly, or going through the animal? Creepy is the people making an either/or thing out of it, or watching the farmer throw his milk into the ditch, or plow their crops under because the market won't move it for a reasonable price. Every chronic problem we suffer is due to our own incompetence/malfeasance. It's not because we can't. It's because we won't.

If the media keeps its mouth shut, it will be allowed to live. As contraband, drugs are much more profitable to organized criminals in, and out of government. This is no health issue any more than a speed trap is a safety issue. The reasons for this situation is quite simple. But it's more effective to make a moral issue out of it for mass appeal. And it still is very much a racial issue. Don't want your daughter hanging out with jazz musicians.

I can't be the only one that is sick of the practice of identifying ourselves based on our racial background.

Racial, National, what's the difference? What's the difference between skin color and place of birth? Did I have a choice in either? So why is one discrimination okay, and the other not? Instead if saying you're an American, why can't you say, *I'm just here.*? You're only allowed to stay where you are because the you are "authorized" by the state. You must show papers. Nationalism and racism, same damn thing!
