    I recall my grandma telling me that man having a bit overweight would make him more attractive.
    Heck, in India, women with slim bodies are considered not as sexy as those with a bit overweight. (in western terms)
    Ever seen what some african tribes do, to look more attractive? ;)

    It's not law, it's interpretation. Dutch judge dismissed it citing "numerous" prior art.
    To German judge Johanna Brueckner-Hofmann it looked different, and was worth banning Samsung Galaxy Tab.

    I find it amusing that we discuss it not on, say Georgian (one letter one sound) or German (a bit more complicated but still straightforwad) where I could remotely imagine someone reading it letter by letter, but on English speaking forum, how do you read word potato letter by letter? :)

    It's pretty clear that we recognize entire words. But how does it prove that we still do NOT pronounce them, pretty please?

    Yes, there are cheapo devices, that, at fraction of cost, are a bit sluggish. But is it something to wonder about?

    They can ban products from being imported nevertheless.
    Other than that, you still can buy Samsung Galaxy Tabs. According to sellers, they are prohibited to import new (not sure how well that gets controlled) but allowed to sell current stock.

    Slapping "oh, it's something everyone knows" "argument" on top of it doesn't make it "more credible" I'm afraid.

    Apple has products that succeeded, Apple had products that failed. (e.g. "Newton", "NeXt") "Gambling" it was in a sense that Jobbs bet on stuff that nobody had bet before. He did it because he was _adventurous_ enough. Gambling is an inherent part of it.

    That's pretty much the only way to get away with this "oh, Apple products are not more expensive" myth, by playing "oh, but it's not identical". No it's not. And you can buy "all in one" dell for 599$, when Apple's start at 1199$.
