Nope. I own one (!), pre-injuction one (no N and no silly looking "ears") and it DOES have pale logo on the front page (actually looks exactly like that one on wiki)
The post injuction one (10.1N) looks like this:

Let me cite things that Samsung might have done differently not to infringe upon Apple's "community design" according to Apple's lawyer (it might sound like a joke, but it IS NOT A JOKE):
For the iPhone design, alternative smartphone designs include: front surfaces that are not black or clear; front surfaces that are not rectangular, not flat, and without rounded corners; display screens that are more square than rectangular or not rectangular at all; display screens that are not centered on the front surface of the phone and that have substantial lateral borders; speaker openings that are not horizontal slots with rounded ends and that are not centered above the display screen; front surfaces that contain substantial adornment; and phones without bezels at all or very different looking bezels that are not thin, uniform, and with an inwardly sloping profile.
[A]lternate tablet computer designs include: overall shapes that are not rectangular with four flat sides or that do not have four rounded corners; front surfaces that are not completely flat or clear and that have substantial adornment; thick frames rather than a thin rim around the front surface; and profiles that are not thin relative to the D’889 or that have a cluttered appearance.

Apple wasn't the cool brand by any stretch until the last 12 years or so.
Neither was it remotely as popular. But I recall the "fastest computer" with IBMs CPUs bogus ads and iZealots defending it.
Bullshit. Motorola Xoom, Asus Prime (from original Joaha Heffner Megajudge POV) look exactly the same, hence infridge.
She agreed with the point that "plain design can be patented" when refering to a device with front end dominated by screen.
I guess she has never walked into a TV store. Thing black bezels, slightly rounded rectangles all over the place. Oh, and without "innovative apple" this time, quite naturally.
I think the real question is: "how much more would it cost, if you'd produce it in US". I also would like to know.
I vaguely recall one of the German manufacturers, I think it was WMF, when being "forced to move to China" got away with buying robots and keeping production in land.
iPhone4's are top selling model only because competitors like Samsung offer many different models.
Apple's smartphone market share is about 14% worldwide, 25% in US.
Samsung's market share is about 24% worldwide.
Apple making more money with 14% market share than remaining 96% (assuming it's true) only tells you how hard it "pwns" its customers. It might sound good to you only if you've invested in their stocks, but hard too see why anyone would like this fact as a consumer.
Uhm, since when Google TV is about consuming some content from the internet?
It's an operating system for TVs!
TV vendors are jumping on "let's have a TV OS" bandwagon, which is a great thing. (and no thanks, I don't want to have a separate ugly box, with its own power supply and yet another hdmi cable; "original Google TV" wasn't for me for exactly this reason)
It's a big thing for TV manufacturers, TV officially turns into yet another PC. But there is next to no point for people who're ok with buyng yet another box to plug it into TV. There are plenty of options, with streaming, internet browsing (heck, even recording) and what not. Pretty much any device with some sort of arm CPU cand do most it, not mentioning, cough, HTPC.
The last 4 digits of your credit card number, that are often printed on your receipts as "plain text" are also stored as plain text by Google Wallet. So?
Apple was caught TRACKING YOUR MOVEMENT if you own an iPhone, somehow that is not a privacy concern in your books? (oh, they certainly "don't know" who the owner of iPhone is, eh?)
Dolphin HD was cought giving out information about sites your visit on Android platform. It was doing it on both iOS and Android, yet only Android users could catch it, see the problem? Where was your mythical Apple's "strict set of guidlines"?
As most stuff surrounding Apple, being better protected than on Android is yet another myth.
Are you seriously comparing USSR to what China was 30 years ago? I'm asking because it's like comparing South and North Korea. USSR couldn't develop... bombers on its own? Dear God, how did they fight in WWII, may I ask? Why did they say no to the glorious "Shermans" and used their own T-34 instead (34 stands for year, mind you). How come they were the first to send Sputnik then Gagarin into space, despite US having German rocket genie, von Braun? Where did they get "Mig"s that caused so much trouble in Vietnam war? Where did they get missile technology to down U2?
Maybe they couldn't develop computers? Oh, what was BESM-6 (1965) based on?
Most of what western world "knows" about "commies" are myths. USSR collapsed after 30 years of stalemate under Brezhnev's rule, followed by sharp reduction of oil prices. Under his rule, by the end of 70th USSR was in regression even according to the official statistics (with double digit growth under previous rulers). But it was still capable of creating pretty much anything on its own.
The worst part here is that awesome hardware manufacturer, Nokia, has become Microsoft's delivery/whipping boy. How come Samsung sells 300+ million phones without restricting itself to particular OS? How come Nokia can't do the same?
Incidentally, Nokia's current CEO is former MIcrosoft manager...
@ Prior to the iPhone, the standard practice for cell phones were for handset makers to make phones for carriers with their carrier branding on the case and carrier specific apps permanently installed on the phone. @
You forgot to add "in the USA". You could get unlocked, unbranded phones in Europe before iphone and sure you can get it after.
Outsell by order of magnitude? More than 10 million Samsung Galaxy SII's were sold starting from mid summer. Not counting previous model (which still sells a lot).
Out of bunch of Apple's claims Dutch judge agreed only on minor detail about gallery app, and to fix that (doable by simply firmware update), Samsung had about 2 month. Doesn't quite qualify as "Samsung's defeat" in my humble opinion.
Where Samsung was defeated, was Dusseldorf, where brilliant German judge Johanna Brueckner-Hofmann agreed that "minimalistic design" is, in fact, patentable, hence Samsung, as all other rmanufacturers, must add some whistles to it, for look to be a bit cluttered, not to look as Apple's registered community design of rectangular shape with rounded corners.
"Very low cost", "very safe" and "very litle waste" in the same sentence talking about nuclear power, makes my heart beat faster. Adding "Microsoft" to already crazy picture doesn't improve things either. Blue wave of death anyone?
Dude, their "USB adapter" and "Power adapter" is the same thing, why list it three times?:D Voice recording app showing a microfone is indeed surprising. Every manufacturer nowadays tries to make packaging as small as possible and there aren't many ways to put your big rectangular stuff into a box.
I'm not sure what their booth showing (among others) apple's icons should mean. Some marketing dude didn't bother to do proper googling when preparing it, so what? Android dosn't use them. Android icons are NOT squares with rounded corner, ok?
A while ago a friend of mine, working at myvideo.de, complained, that google kept ads prices too low to pressure competition. Considering youtube was losing money, no one would argue that they weren't too low.
I can't directly relate it to search monopoly, though, since technically Apple or Samsung could buy youtube and play the same "oh youtube isn't profitable" while competitors go bancrupt, but it does feel like abuse.
There are many studies with highly questionable conclusions.
Facts are that beauty standard vary a lot from culture to culture / time to time, and in fact, so much, that what looked great for some time / culture might look plain ugly in other cultures / times.
African rings (which happen to take place in some Asian cultures as well) were not used to avoid slavery, do not make up facts please. It's way too time consuming for that goal, takes many years and should begin at age of 2-3, you confuse it to something different.
Chinese adored tiny feet which don't even look human.
Maya believed that absolute beauty should suffer from slight Strabismus.
Your Bollywood argument actually supports opponents' position, yes, indeed, media nowadays is changing the beauty standards. Indian faces didn't have to change as they already match.
Joahana Heffner's decision regarding rectangular devices with rounded corner tells me there are in fact serious problems in German courts.

Same as with Apple. Multi-touch, Siri, heck, CPU design, had to buy all those companies.

I'd rather ask "which pocket device on the market has lens that deserve 1920x1080 resolution"

On Android you know which app has which permissions, but you don't with iOS.
Having this piece of news in mind, talk about Apple's "protect the privacy" is very ironic:

Ok, except there is no 7" Kindle. Sony has 7" e-ink readers (Sony PRS-900, Sony PRS-950)
Sorry for nitpicking.

Uhm, no, they come up with exactly the same design, shown in Kubrik's "Odissey":
Motorola Xoom:

Asus Prime:

Kindle Fire:

Oh, and, interestingly, Samsung's on Photo Frame, that came before ipads:

"Community design" that caused Samsung's ban in Germany depicts generic tablet:

Here is the "community design" we are talking about:

Essencially:

Here is Motorola Xoom, tell me it doesn't "infridge":

Here is Asus Transformer Prime (it's notable, because first Asus Transformer is mentioned in the shocking Dusseldorf judgjement as an example of "not infridging") tell me it doesn't infrindge:
http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/5830/asustransformerprimetf2.jpg
Heck, here is Samsung Photo Frame, tell me it doesn't "infringe":

NeXT didn't do well with him either.
And I'm not quite sure how losing PC market to IBM qualifies, a success?
