Loved that big blue, oh, it was huge! No not that, the dude, not the little dude. Get your mind out of the gutter.
I've never read the book. Seen the cover a few times and didn't know what all the excitement is about. I guess it was the blue bit flopping around the screen.
Loved the movie. It was slow and confusing at parts but they were wise and explained it in later visuals and narrative.
Overall it was excellent!
The naked blue dude was a bonus as was the dark Nietzschian dialog. Life is empty and meaningless and it's empty and meaningless that life is empty and meaningless. When you reach that point, as big blue floppy dude did, you get that the meaning of life is what you bring to it. They choose a dark impression of people and acted upon it.
There must be some way to bypass the tube tying that these folks in the governments around the world are doing. Yes, sure there are snoop blockers and other web sites that enable encrypted bypassing of restrictions but State based Freedom Limiting Terrorists have figured out that firewalls exist. I'm wondering about legal means to assault these State Based Terrorists who continue to assault our freedoms including our freedoms of communication.
Sure it's likely different in each country due to the differences in laws but there must be strategies that will work across the entire planet to protect the masses Natural rights to free communications.
One idea is the open project to monitor ALL GOVERNMENT AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, STAFF and POLITICIANS and publish their movements, their activities, their lives. Millions of Little Brothers watching the members of the Big Brother control freak cult (aka members of any group that considers itself a State or Government at any level).
The purpose in part is to expose the hypocracy of these members of the governments but it's also to let them know that they are being watched.
Who watches the watchers? The population must be the ones who watch the watchers. This is why all public business must be in the public domain for it to be valid public business, otherwise it's just the work of "terrorists pretending to be the State"!

When the scientists can't even get agree on the RAW temprature data how can you even trust their computer models? Simulating climate with starting conditions that aren't close to the real temperatures won't help with the accuracy of said simulations.
I'd like to see the source code for ALL climate models used to support the conclusions of ANY climate change claims - regardless of which direction or dire size of said claims. Auditing the scientists is crucial. Open science that can be vetted by anyone is crucial. AUDIT! Verify! Reproduce results (if possible and so far many of the claimed GW can't be independently reproduced by auditors).
Hey my soothsaying computer models says that the world would be a better place for me if you all sent me $1,000 for use in warming my climate with a trip to the tropics.... (it's cold here where I am). If you all show me the money my climate will be warm for the rest of my lifetime with lots of fun times with yummy cold liquid hydrocarbons.

Not only are you saving a lot by generating your own power (actually I'd like to see your annual generated power curve along side your savings from the years previous and the savings assuming you didn't have the solar panels installed) but you could still add panels to your roof to generate more power. I wonder what the break even point is for your system, when would more panels make sense or not? I also wonder if adjustments to your system to track the sun angle even in one dimension by lifting the panels with a motion system would be? What about adding solar water heating to your house?
