"By implanting an electrode into the brain of a person with locked-in syndrome, scientists have demonstrated how to wirelessly transmit neural signals to a speech synthesizer. The "thought-to-speech" process takes about 50 milliseconds - the same amount of time for a non-paralyzed, neurologically intact person to speak their thoughts. The study marks the first successful demonstration of a permanently installed, wireless implant for real-time control of an external device."
It's just a few vowels at the moment, but still...
This is why Nuke plants are so expensive. Each plant is a one off.
Better to have one, or just a few designs, approved and immunized against lawsuits challenging their safety. Components could then be manufactured in factories, providing better quality control and reduced costs.
If they can prevent me from watching porn on cable and satellite, they should be able to prevent these guys from hijacking the video feeds from the UAVs.
But the FCC concluded in 1984 there was no fair way to write regulations controlling the "apparent loudness" of commercials.'" ...every time my wife yells at me to "turn down that damned TV" because commercial suddenly starts blasting, the advertising executive for that commercial gets a 24 volt shock?
I never got used to the stupid little joysticks and the A button, B button with no obvious functions. And back when i was trying them, there never seemed to be any rhyme or reason for which button did what.
Add to that the fact that I can play a perfectly good game on my PC using superior controls (F-16 Fighterstick, etc.) and the rich keyboard environment for additional settings, consoles just never seemed to be good gaming option in the first place.
I guess the only good reason for a console is that you can hook it up to a big screen TV and standing there, waving your arms around like a lunatic.
We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest. - Prof. Stephen Schneider, Stanford Professor of Climatology, lead author of many IPCC reports

Now there is an idea: Just use the existing naval designs.
They are compact and have an excellent saftey record, and could be clustered (probably) for greater generation power.

They could even save costs on the posters!
Amen...And JCL did draw a significant amount of blood.
Medical doctors writing the code to run highly sophisticated and/or potentially dangerous medical equipment....
Pilots writing fly-by-wire or ATC systems....
MBAs writing ERP systems...
Etc.
Just as a matter of principal, Canada should give them a nice hearty "F**k you, eh!"
What they SHOULD do is to substitute porn for the regular video feeds.
They would either stop watching out of their sense of morality or NEVER stop watching.
Win - Win situation.
True! So True!
Russia, as in the former Soviet Union, is a pretty damned big part of the world.

Did you check your sense of humor at the home page?
The Fighter Stick is a joystick. Uses analog "pots".
Even the $20 Siatek is analog.
"Pride", "being right?"
How about just because I prefer it.
Only after the second six-pac

And all this shows that they are not about climate change or environmentalism, they are about control.
When the "solution" is to tank our economy, you better fucking "prove it".
Yeah...after it was leaked.
Interesting thing about the NASA Data. Check this graph from NASA
This shows that virtually all of the warming seems to come from their "corrections".
Seems this would have a difficult time passing the smell test.

Then : Use AT&T and download video and songs faster!
Now: Too many people are downloading video and songs!
It makes enough methane for the whole planet, that's for sure.
The extreme U.S. costs are due to the incessant lawsuits filed by the leftist wackos that prefer we live in caves.
Right Comrade.
