    "By implanting an electrode into the brain of a person with locked-in syndrome, scientists have demonstrated how to wirelessly transmit neural signals to a speech synthesizer. The "thought-to-speech" process takes about 50 milliseconds - the same amount of time for a non-paralyzed, neurologically intact person to speak their thoughts. The study marks the first successful demonstration of a permanently installed, wireless implant for real-time control of an external device."

    They are compact and have an excellent saftey record, and could be clustered (probably) for greater generation power.

    This is why Nuke plants are so expensive. Each plant is a one off.

    Better to have one, or just a few designs, approved and immunized against lawsuits challenging their safety. Components could then be manufactured in factories, providing better quality control and reduced costs.

    They could even save costs on the posters!

    I never got used to the stupid little joysticks and the A button, B button with no obvious functions. And back when i was trying them, there never seemed to be any rhyme or reason for which button did what.

    Add to that the fact that I can play a perfectly good game on my PC using superior controls (F-16 Fighterstick, etc.) and the rich keyboard environment for additional settings, consoles just never seemed to be good gaming option in the first place.

    I guess the only good reason for a console is that you can hook it up to a big screen TV and standing there, waving your arms around like a lunatic.

    This shows that virtually all of the warming seems to come from their "corrections".

    Seems this would have a difficult time passing the smell test.
