This is about as disingenuous as it gets and not just a little bit pedantic.
What we see on campuses today is, in fact, censorship. While it isn't the Government or an extension of that government (College Administration) shutting down speech, it is censorship none-the-less.
You would be the first to cry censorship if your speakers were shut down by violent protests.
As much as I hate to side with, "not appropriate for Slashdot" crowd, this seems more fitting for Slate or Salon.
Using this as a template we can look forward to seeing stories on intrigue and corporate politics at Dillards, because, you know, they use computers in their Point of Sale systems.
"Human Rights" in Europe are pretty much terrorists rights.
For instance, anyone leaving Europe to go fight on the side of ISIS should not be allowed to come back, but the Human Rights Commission in Europe wouldn't allow that.
Ya know, I expect that if these people currently in prison actually went into the armed services, their chances of committing crime and ending up in prison would been cut dramatically.
More than one hoodlum in the early 20th Century who was offered a choice of Prison or the Army ended up being a decorated solider.
I believe that Colonel David H. Hackworth was given an option by the judge...prison or, in his case, the Merchant Marines.
The Reality of the Armed services changes you, usually for the better.
What is the first thing most shops do when working on a vehicle...body work or...(mechanical?) ?
Disconnect the battery.
Disconnecting the Tesla Batteries and making them safe is not, I expect, the same as disconnecting a DieHard battery.
Lack of technicians qualified to work on the Tesla is likely driving up the repair costs.
Hell, First Responders are going through special training to learn how to deal with a Telsa wreck and the batteries. Your average body shop guy is starting with much less knowledge.
Is "Explodes" a metaphor or a prescient description of the future under, "A.I."?
Maybe that guy who robbed a bank to get away from his wife can go.
Beats House arrest...with his wife.
The Mayans had a similar issue with the 2012 bug.
Since they ran out of room on the huge rock they carved the calendar on, they just figured time would end and they'd never have to worry about 2012.
Man, you try to complement some people and they lose their shit.
LOL!
Just behind the head?
Using spaces to indent is really kind of an OCD thing to do. There's the time and the counting and then redoing when you change something.
So maybe the real lesson is the OCD programmers make a bit more than non-OCD programmers.
...they will examine it all for clues to provide targeted advertising.
Next will be looking for hate speech and porn and reporting it to the authorities.
No thanks.
I bet he was shooting it sideways like in the movies.

As usual the Politicians are making it harder than it needs to be.
Simply outlaw ALL speech codes. Period.
Twitter is the worst thing to happen to public discourse since TV.

Now don't be so hard on the coffee places. Where else would PhD's in Women's Studies work?
$550 worth of lumber is going back to Lowe's today.
Fuck them.
I ditched my Facebook acct years ago.
I feel a lot like the guy who choose to exit the Market in 2008, before the crash.
Or the guy who canceled his plane tickets...before it crashed.
Or the guy who disembarked the ship...before it sank.
Or the guy who sold his house on the hill...just before the landslide.
The Space Craft is not a secret.
It's the cargo.
Band of Brothers
The Pacific
Civil War (Ken Burns)
Just about an Modern Marvels show.
Fun Fact...the music for Victory At Sea was originally written by Richard Rogers, bu the produced only 17 pages of themes.
Robert Russel Bennett arranged and expanded that to 17 hours of music for the series.
You only need one regulation.
If you advertise X speed service, they you must provide that service, 24/7, regardless of service.
Period.
No "up to", no, "Peak Times", etc. If you are going to cap data, it must be obvious. And...no take backs during the term of the contract.
If you can't, don't advertise it. If that puts you at a disadvantage, upgrade your infrastructure.
In short, don't be a fucking asshole and sell what you can't provide.

You people remind me of the 9/11 Truthers.
Admit it. You lit a pan of Jet-A on fire underneath some chicken wire and jumped up and down on it, didn't you?
Pretty much this.
If there is no phone number on a call, I don't answer.
If it's a phone number not in my contacts, and I can't look it up on Google and get an actual name or company, blocked.
That privacy laws don't already provide for this scenario.
WTF?
