    I love gold too, all my life I've admired its colour, its brilliance, its divine heaviness. I welcome any enterprise that will increase my stock of it but... it's heavy, whereas a pound sterling "promises to pay the bearer" an amount of gold and all you have to do is carry around paper (which is so much lighter)

    Chrome's got its own flash plugin, so you could uninstall flash from the host and just let Chrome silently update itself, is that what you mean? I thought FF, IE etc. used the flash libs on the host?

    and the password syncing, that was what did it for me, all my passwords all nicely syncd in VMs/work/partitions without any messing about with xmarks

    harsh, GeoHot's a boy, I'd shit myself if Sony came after me. Other than that, totally agree with you, I don't see why modding your ps3 is any different from flashing your phone/router etc, if Sony don't like it then they stop you using their network but in your own home at the end of the day it's your hardware.

    ok, "you're right", there I said it. People can't help being ugly (it's relative anyway), getting old, having acne (never a problem for me that one, I always like my chicas spotty but I take your point) etc. but being morbidly obese? the clue is in the name, let's discourage it.

    he's being charged with hacking into his own console and then tell others how to hack into their own consoles isn't he? so he's not actually guilty of anything if I lose my car-keys tonight I'm not going to get arrested for hot wiring my own car and then posting on my blog how I managed it (am I?)
