The head of the IT department is probably some army general's golfing buddy. His staff probably consists of college interns, family members, and other golfing buddies. Seems to be the way the government runs these days.
It's not about what you know (dirty secrets aside) that gets you into a government job, but who you know.
An experiment only validates or invalidates a single hypothesis. The results will only create more hypotheses to test. The second you begin to believe you know exactly how and why something happens you begin to err and surely nature will find a way to make an ass out of you.
I guess my answer to your question is nothing is ever sure nor can it ever be.
Create a dns server and download some pre-made host files easily googled.:) The only problem with that approach is that it may delay pages opening while the dns server hammers itself looking for adblock.com...
Then what do you do with the gigantic amounts of methane in the atmosphere? Something tells me that might have a greater effect on Earth than the large amounts of CO2 we're pumping out.
I'm not sure what kind of offices you've seen but all the ones I've worked in have had no windows anywhere near the desks. Productivity is low enough, you can't have people staring out the windows at every foxy lady that walks by.
Well I think that it was rather obvious for most of us reading this that there would be a computer hooked up as well... I think someone just felt the need to flex their amazing knowledge of numbers.
And even then he may not be accelerating if he's already hit terminal velocity. Acceleration != movement.
Acceleration is the time rate of change of velocity with respect to magnitude or direction or the derivative of velocity with respect to time. (dictionary.com)
If you were actually accelerating at 1G constantly, you would eventually hit that speed...
That sentence was really hard for me to read, and having nailed down some sort of rhythm to reading it, I don't think I understand the point you were trying to make... can you please clarify?
The problem is human nature... at least certain humans' natures, but I think a more accurate description would be to call it a lack of morality. The major problem appears to be greed mixed with a government that is hell-bent on making corporations succeed, RIGHT NOW, at any cost. This quarter's profits outweigh next year's hospital bills in this culture.
That is the problem that has gotten way out of hand, and continues to blossom and grow day by day.
I know it's a pain to have an abuse department that has to answer to complainers all across the net when one of your customers is infected with some spam virus, but forcing all port 25 traffic through your own smtp server(s) is pretty sketchy. I'd be willing to bet your cable isp's backbone is on the AT&T network...
I still can't wrap my head around the insatiable need to call yourself a 'conservative' or 'liberal' or 'centrist' or call other people 'left-wingers' or 'right-wingers'. If you think about it for just a minute, it's absolutely ridiculous to label someone with those words after hearing them say one sentence or because of a single belief they hold.
I think the biggest problem with politics is this need to over-generalize everything and fall in line with some mystical and unintelligible group-think. I would like to see a day where the issues are what is at stake in an election, not peoples' reputations or scandalous histories, or their association with some abstract label that seems to indicate exactly which of the two or three molds they came from.
I worked at the TWC in Houston a few years back and they were doing this THEN. I don't understand why the sudden announcement...
Maybe it was for business class customers only.. but I don't think that was the case.

If you really do understand binary, you probably should realize it's a joke.

As the winner of the International Pimp of the Year award for the past 4 years, I find your response amusing.

For once a worthy analogy. I get tired of all the car analogies.
I AM NOT A GREASE MONKEY.
Thank you.
That depends if it's accompanied by a burning sensation in the loins or not.
But just imagine all the extra traffic...
That the scary part.
Read manna ( http://www.marshallbrain.com/manna1.htm ) and then see if you'd really want that.

Ahh much nicer. I don't think I got anything near that meaning previously. Well said.

Not to mention it would surely be the biggest new target for terrorists. So we'd have to consent to full body cavity searches before every ride.
Because we get attacked like every day anymore... or something.

Okay I think this discussion of Mario Kart has reached it's end. Thanks for the overblown analysis of a game from the 90s.

If it were true that this was exploited for years, why would it come out now? Has something even better been found and thus this one can be trashed?
Every man will be an island, entire of himself. ... with the new iPhone
Oooh sweet!! Do you have to be a student? I'm only a hop skip and jump away from isu!
Funny how it's considered a part of human nature to care about others but an illness to not care about others.
Funny how it's really all human nature.
