The process of operating it is the same as a normal laptop, which for me defeats the purpose of having one. This is unlike mobile phones which are essentially instant-on devices.
As for the 10-inch displays, the only "sweetspot" I can think of that applies to those displays is the exact size that suckers customers into squinting at their screens long enough for them to develop astigmatism.

I imagine some black people make valuable contributions to society, but that organization sure didn't do a good job of demonstrating that.

Shirking of this responsibility is severely looked down upon, as society recognizes how much this traumatizes the emotional state of the man, as it would a child. It's...complicated and not easy to explain in a few sentences. But suffice to say many foreign women who visit places like America find the women to be naive and irresponsible.

During the CRTC hearings in Canada a few weeks ago, an ISP detailed the traffic management methods it employed to handle the massive upsurge in traffic that occurred after Michael Jackson's death. They simply prioritized time-sensitive applications while de-prioritizing time-insensitive applications like Bittorrent. The end result was that no one experienced any slowdown in speed or quality, including Bittorrent users. And this was during a massive, massive upsurge in traffic.
Really, the whole idea of "expense" espoused by US ISPs is ridiculous. They make far too much money and provide far slower speeds than ISPs in the East to be worrying about "expenses".

If you look at your own numbers, 5-4 = 1, 2 - 1 = 1. So the amount of money you save on gasoline is equivalent if you upgrade from a 12 mpg to 15 mpg car, versus from a 30 mpg to a 60 mpg car.
It's a little confusing at first glance, and this is why many other countries use "gallons per mile" rather than "miles per gallon" to more accurately reflect the efficiency gains of a more fuel-efficient car.
Generally, as the mpg number gets higher, the incremental increases in fuel efficiency become less and less meaningful over the life of a car.
Actually even if you don't pay for a data plan and just pay the *huge* markups on spontaneous data usage (Verizon charges a few dollars for 2 MB of usage), SMS uses such a tiny amount of data that it doesn't even matter. If you just use SMS on GV without a data plan you'll end up only paying a few dollars a month for it.
