I am a Christain and a Conservative and I am glad to see him gone. His record on states rights vs federal law proves that the current administration cares nothing about the will of the people and only about the power of Federal law. I dont want the state coming in and telling me what I can and can't put in to my body or who I can have sex with. I could just see this guy dragging homosexuals in if the amendment had passed. I dont want the state to come in to my marrage or a gay marrage anymore than I want the state to come in to my relationship with God.
This guy got his rocks off dragging people in to court over matters that should never have been law in the first place.
Its called a joke. And you still never answered the question. What happens when China or India say oops we changed our minds? Most of the first world trade is to tied to them for anyone to take action when the treaty is violated.
So what happens when they fail to meet the standard or decide to withdraw? Last time I looked most of the world was too dependant on trade with China to put up much of a fight if they break the treaty.
Yes but this is slashdot. I doubt most of the readers understand the terms you are using. Throw sanctification in to the mix as well and watch some heads spin.
So he is right about Microsoft. I don't understand the love the editors have for his crap writting. His ideas tend to not be new and his background as someone in the field that should be given a voice has never been established well enough for me to want to listen to his mind blowing waste.
Not that I agree with Bush Inc. on much of anything but the "Global Test" TM is the most stupid thing I have heard thus far. Think about the following:
The 50,000 troops sitting on the Korean DMZ are there to die and buy us time in the event the North decides to move in. Lets say we know N. Korea is about to launch a nuke at S. Korea with a full scale attack.
Do we wait on the "Global Test" or do we turn them in to glass?
Where is this "Global Test" defined?
Do all nations follow the same rules for the "Global Test"?
It is nice to see someone point this out. School Vouchers allow for Choice!
It should be no surprise that the same people that always bitch and want to be Pro-Choice (the right to kill a child) are really anti-choice when it comes to selecting where to educate that child.
Not that I want it to be a nuke but I would say the odds are leaning that way. Sep 9 is the aniversery of N. Korea going to the commies. What better way to show they have a big dick than to set of a nuke for the birthday party.
I have heard this for so many years it is making me sick. I had a nice discussion with some guys from AMD and DELL at LinuxWorld expo in 2003 about this. They asked me why I would want to work on developing a Windows clone like ReactOS and somehow the discussion turned to "When will we have Linux on the Desktop". That was August 2003 and not much has changed. I think it will happen dont get me wrong but X.org alone is not the answer. Application and driver support still needs needs a lot of work.
Thank God. I wish Ashcroft could read this.

See you around John.....
You really need a newline return in that sig.
Which ones? We never signed the Geneva Accords and the ABM treaty allowed us to withdraw if notice was served and it was post 9/11.

You must be french or german....

Right so if we are all tied together in this global network then what will happen when China and India fail to uphold the Kyoto?
France and Germany invade them? Send the UN after them?
Please. Didn't the last President reject it as well.
And what happens if they fail to uphold it? Is France and Germany going to invade China for breaking the treaty?
I think it was 97 he was appointed a assistant. Once Bush and Co got in to office he was moved up.
He was first appointed to a job at the FCC under Clinton. He was promoted during this administration because he knew the job.
Just use CrossOver
Come to Greenville SC. BMW just opened a plant here about 5 years ago. Its called in-sourcing.

The word he was looking for would be virtuoso.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
I would love to see some sort of vapor conversion kit mass produced for normal autos if it could work.

After all he must be at fault if the pay rates are going up!

ReactOS is coming along very well now. It can run AbiWord for Win32.
