    Great, the one place i go to get away from advertising and commercials is video games, now it seems it's going to be just as bad as sitting at home watching TV. I think ill just watch all the visions in my head. (thanks to the 70's i get 15 psychadellic stations in 34 blazing colors)

    Kenwood and Sony makes a indash minidisc player (Kenwood eXcelon KMD-X92 , Sony MDX-F5800 ) as well as sony makes a changer for its in dash units. (Sony MDX-66XLP 6-Disc MiniDisc Changer)

    1) you may own a concealed firearm if your state has the law in place, but you must go through a federal/state background check, attend a class and also qualify on a range to recieve this permit.

    2) John "switch sides" Kerry is not a hunter, more of a journalistic poser. He has voted down every bill for hunters and boted for every bill to take guns and ammunition away from the American People.

    i maintain a wide aray of users machines, and i still get calls about every 2 weeks to clean a machine or do a clean install becuae its so hosed.

    Last one i did, when i ran adaware pro it came up with 2000+ so i closed it and did a format and started over.

    That is why i carry a maxtor usb HD with me to make backups of their pst's and favorites. other than that and a few word/excel docs it all gets blown away.

    And on top of it, i charge $120 per hour and get it. because i built the machines from scratch.

    I actually made them BUY legitimate software. (no free software here)

    Bottom line is if you want to make a job of cleaning PC's then yes you can have a second income. But i can attest to this. It is a huge headache and hardly worth the effort, hence why i charge so much.

    Just take away everyones PC's, Mac's or what have you away and replace them with the best alternative. A Abacus and an Etch-a-sketch. then when everyone leaves for the night shake the etch-a-sketch so no data is removed from the office.

    But if you read the article, it only refers to AP's that are plugged into PRIVATE networks (IE: cable modems and DSL modems) not University Network Drops. I just wish people would read the full story before replying.

    I agree on the name change. In todays market if you dont change the name of a product then peopl,e will associate it directly to the older product. Take the Pentium. I had customers calling me asking why the brand new Pentium 2 chip would not fit in their Pentium board. Finally I had to put a voice mail on my service because of the rash of calls.

    A Sun Enterprise 4000 who got connected with a SGI Orgin 200. Al was quite well even though they were on diffrent OS's Sun on Solaris and the SGI on IRIX. Then one day a Generic Windows 2000 Advanced server showed up and tried to steal the Sun box away from the SGI. Well this didn't sound good to the SGI so it took it upon itself to packet flood the Win2K box off the network. Even the eneric servers Active Directory couldnt have helped it. The moral of the story is..... I like writing long paragraphs.

    Expect others in the industry to foloow suit? I have a Sony Vaio and although i can still use a pcmcia modem, having the winmodem work would be really nice. Then I can actually keep my wireless card installed also. Does anyone know of any tricks to get the PCG series Vaio's winmodem to work?
