  4. Whiners... on ADV Confirms Cable Anime Channel · · Score: 1

I sit here reading this discussion and I am ashamed. This community appeals to me because I thought it included a general base of intelligence and openess. I seem to be mistaken.

Anime is not all hentai. Maybee the sick fuck who runs your local video store stocked up on hentai, but a mojority of the anime out there is clean. Personally I could care less about hentai, but I do crave movies with PLOTS. Unfortunately american cinema can not offer this.

American cinema is pouring out 'cute' crap like 'the santa clause' and weak crap like 'starship troopers'. I demand more. Mononoke, Gundam Wing, Ghost in the shell, heck even Tenchi Muyo all have deeper plots than anything I see in the USA. Yes you will whine, 'what about matrix or (insert favorite movie here)?' but there are a few jems, but not many. Besides, Matrix is based on anime anyway (oops you watched some anime related materials).

I had hoped that I could see an intelligent discussion about a subject I enjoy, but it seems to all be ranting about hentai.

I get on the net to get OUT of Utah.

Here's a nickel, gimme my 3 cents back.

    5) so throw away your glasses, contacts, pacemakers, heart bypass surgery, vaccinations...I don't see in the bible (or any other religious text) where it says: "Thou shalt not genetically modify pigs so you can make replacement parts for humans"

I'm religious, and I've been taught that these animals have been put here to help mankind. even in genesis it talks about man having dominion over the animals. I'd have a problem if they said, "sorry we need to make a Mini-me of you and then kill him so you can live".

I've put computers in cars but I've been limited to 500mhz max due to cooling problems. Tight confined places with no airflow, like say behind a seat or in the dash, were out of the question. Not anymore.

the micro form factor is perfect and the radiator is a standard in cars. this is a perfect idea that I am embarrased not to have tried it first.

I lost the intrest to mod any further when I found EVERY computer in my home is faster than what I'd have in my car...it was depressing. Now I'm going to look into this more.

Kudos for trying this and thanks for the idea.
