You should note that a fantasy movie has never won best picture. And aslong as you are looking at that see that the big Nominations ( best actor i.e.) don't include LOTR. yes best makeup is nice but is it ocnsidered == to best actor?

    just my two cents

Pictures don't come up, "page can not be found" errors, and then it hits you like a ton of bricks, I bet this just made Slashdot. You click the link at the top of the your browser ( you do have a Slashdot link? Don't you?) and BAM there it is? Well that just happened to me and now I can't finish the article so suck it!

One day some years ago I found the site thanks to a referance on another site, that is happaning more now than it happend then. Short of letting the site go to hell I don't think Taco could stop it if he wanted to.

Do you seriously think a company would can it's line of processors if it was actually selling good? You never say no to money.

But what if they could make more cash off of the other chips? ok do this, look at the amount made off of the old chips. Then look at the amount they make off of the new chips. then subtract the cost of making a new production line from the proit from the old chips. If they are still in the black from the old chips AFTER making a new production line then it is a smart move to keep the old line. If not then it is cheeper tto dump the old chip and replace it with the newer one.
