but the virus could steal that 'itan' code the moment you type it and make another transaction instead..
i think the only good solution so far has been livecd (assuming bios is ok).
or using seperate, locked down, firewalled, etc.. computer only for banking.
I think the problem is that FPS and action games also have excellent gfx these days.
In the past, it was major advantage of point and click adventures.
to be popular you need to be fast enough to firstpost, talk about what happens in Soviet Russia, praise the laser-equipped sharks as new overlords.. etc
are you joking?
earth is spinning pretty fast, why not 'plant stationary platform' in it and easily make a trip around the world?
because there is inertia and other things, spacecraft would need a lot of fuel and time to become 'stationary'
until they move to bios/firmware..
most of the time, when I have a problem in Debian, solution is found in Ubuntu forum.
actually, I remember that many USB sticks had the readonly switch, back then, with sizes like 128Mb.

iirc, $/TB was always better on bigger drives, so in that way 3Tb disk would be cheaper than 2Tb.
lets not forget it introduced USB-flash based viruses, too.. :P
its probably not easy to do such high speeds with that tiny, flexible cable. in any case much harder than fixed, short, lines on PCB of PCI card.
