    If the Earth had more CO2, crops would grow faster.
    If the temperature was a few degrees warmer, there would be massive increase in crop lands in Canada, and Russia.
    More fat people would increase food production.

    Make it horrible: "We will send hit men to your home and torture your family to death"
    If the law firm protests about your "satire" let them show the real letter to prove the satire is unfair.

    Don't be surprised when the next spec of HDMI/HDCP requres monitors to sense the presence of people.
    Movies could be bundled with DRM that limits viewers to 4 and would shut off the display if a group
    of 6 people were sensed. Youtube could require the display to sense the presence of a person during
    the ad or the video won't play. No more reaching for a snack while the ad plays!

    If Windows or Suse or Ubuntu has an error and causes me a problem, I have no financial recourse.
    In America if a drug causes a problem, the lawyers are ready to collect.
    Can you imagine a GPLd vaccine that sells for $5 cost of production that causes 1 death per 5,000 doses. This may not get picked up in testing, but it might cause 1000 deaths before it gets recalled. If Merck sold the vaccine for $50, each family would get $1,000,000 and Merck would be out $1Billion. If it was a GPL $5 vaccine.......

    The problem was the Supreme Court didn't pick up the fact that the state law was unconstitutional.

    You have to wonder if we are better off with all these nonlethal torture devices in the hands of The State.
    If all the cops had was a .45 with JHP rounds would they have fired? No.

    Now think of the US Military. If all they had were ICBMs with Nukes would they be in Iraq? No.
    Once you have all these non lethal devices around it *will* be too easy to use them.

    You know the saying "If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail?"
    Hmmm.. kid won't leave, looks like a good use for a taser...

    Dialling emergency services and saying "Three men impersonating police officers are attacking a student" because quite frankly, that's what it looks like.

    That's a great idea. I'd specifically request State Police be called.

    Then the people could see how honest the police are if they think no one saw them.
