    The Big Mac may be the worlds first open source burger. For those of you not old enough to remember, their slogan used to be "Two all beef patties, special sauce(*), lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun" which can be considered the "source code" of the burger.     Version 3.0 = Version 1.0 was written in the Windows 2000 days before Group Policy could lock out USB storage. It's probably still being developed for the benefit of government agencies that are still on older Windows domains and/or clients.

    Your resume is scanned by software for keywords deemed to be relevant for the job (e.g. Windows, Java, AIX, ad nauseum). That software usually is configured to accept files in .doc format. (I would imagine that this software accepts other formats but that would be confusing to HR types... Besides any deviation from their instructions is reason to disqualify you.) Only after it has passed the relevant keyword tests is it viewed by human eyes where it is then filtered by other impossible criteria (at least 5 years experience with Exchange 2007 running on Windows 2008 R2. Must have MCSE in for Windows 2008.) Only then will HR contact you for an interview.

    I am a forensic investigator and it terrifies me that most people I meet in my field don't seem to care who goes to jail as long as somebody goes to jail.

    If you are an elected official or have ambitions of becoming one you will be labeled as being "soft on criminals" unless someone goes to jail.
