  1. Re:You contradict yourself on CentOS Linux 6.8 Released (softpedia.com) · · Score: 2

Was said "for those using the desktop release". Desktop wise, there is a huge difference between modern Ubuntu like releases and CentOS. Even Ubuntu 14.04 (2 years old) is way ahead re ergonomics, utilities and other applications. You can keep CentOS or RH, but at least show a bit of fairness.

  2. Modernism and Stability on CentOS Linux 6.8 Released (softpedia.com) · · Score: 2

CentOS/RedHat motto has always been "stability and security". Nowadays however , I don't think there is much difference with Debian, for instance, in terms of stability/security. Furthermore, for those using the desktop release, RH and CentOS are really behind (eg compared to Ubuntu) in terms of ergonomics, utilities and other applications.

Why not include the financial sector in this analysis?

Because Apple, Microsoft, and Google would only hold 2% of all US corporate cash, and we would feel bad for them.

That's not the point. French (and Europeans in general) want to watch American movies/series. Would it be from Netflix or a local provider. But the French government, for the sake of "Cultural exception", and in order to give jobs to many "shows Intermittents" (actors working temporarily on a show) want Netflix to make local movies and TV shows. That's already the case in France, and most of the "local sponsored content" (made by TVs) results usually in a crappy outcome (bad script, bad play...). That's the difference between "You'll get money if your movie is good" and "This is the money, take it and do what you want".

You're joking, obviously. But tracking can be convenient. The other day I was in a hurry, and had to enter some data in a form. I just googled "what was that secret and private account number of mine in Panama, please?" and voilà, form filled!

Here we go: internal functions having different names, file functions behaving differently, newer Office update on Mac had less features than the Windows one, and no active-X emulation ; that last one requires a number of expensive workarounds (time wise!).
