Yeah, they have three pins. When they fail, though, they fail so bad that they stop clicking the same, so who knows what's going on in there. Not me, I don't do that much investigation. All I know is that I can replace them with an iron and a solder sucker, and that they suck.

One of Apples biggest mistake in mice design, isn't the one button, but the tiny little cable, that didn't allow for a wide range of movement.

I'm pretty sure it was the round mouse, actually. You can solve the cable problem with an extension. Solving the round mouse problem requires buying another mouse, or going to extreme measures to modify it.

Carbohydrates is exactly what you need if you work for a living.

Overly simplistic. You need carbs throughout the day for ready energy, fats for long term energy, and protein in between. Hence the idea of a balanced diet. The old school food pyramid was maybe suitable for farm workers, but most of us aren't one of those.

I have abused the living shit out of my HD420 headphones, and they are still trucking. If Sennheiser is still building stuff with that level of quality, then their goods are worth every dime. (I'd have said penny, but...)

I still have at least two of the original part (they were cheap AF and I didn't want to do research at the time so I just bought more) so the next re-switch will probably be more of the same. Who knows what I'll use after that? Not me, yet.

ANY time there is ANY kind of offline ability to listen, that file has been cached locally.

Wait, that's not true. Sure, there's some kind of caching, but they don't deliver the entire track at once. They just deliver enough to avoid skipping. That means that the server has to remain active, waiting to feed you the next part of the track, and so on. Or if I am playing mp3s from my file server, same thing. The whole file's not cached locally. My machine asks for the blocks as it needs them. Or, as is increasingly common, someone plays "music" by playing Youtube videos, in which case not only do they not get the whole file at once, but they get a whole bunch of video they're not using along with it.

But that's so dumb. The bible never claims to be a complete account. They're assuming such because it starts at what they perceive to be the beginning, but that is once again blasphemous (I'm not offended, except by their inconsistency) because it promotes the view that man can know everything God is up to. Its first and foremost a more sensible way to manage mil space infrastructure with a shorter and dedicated chain of command.

You can have that by promoting everyone currently involved in mil space infrastructure, and having the person at the top start reporting directly to the commander-in-KFC.

It's budget will no longer be cannibalized for terrestrial Air Force projects.

Easily done by congress declaring how the money shall be spent. Also easily undone by congress declaring how the money shall be spent. So no, there's no guarantees there.

And moving forward they will be better prepared to defend our satellites.

Still no need for a separate branch for that.

One of the chief complains placed on the Air Force has been their total neglect in dealing with these new threats.

    No it isn't.

Everything else you said was irrelevant, and everything relevant that you said was wrong.

  17. There's a way to make most factions happy, but it takes some careful juggling to do so.

You have to eradicate at least one of the most powerful ones, even after you've established yourself as their good friend. (Or once you're running it, depending on which one you choose.) That's stupid. And it doesn't take careful juggling to save the other ones either, all you have to do is choose to warn them when you get the chance. None of your choices before or after really make any difference. Obviously there are mods which fix this problem, I'm running one now, but that doesn't speak to how little sense the stock campaign's ending makes.

I owned an Amiga, but I always had to admit that the Atari ST was just made for audio.

The STE you mean? The ST couldn't even play PCM audio, it only had FM synthesis. Amigas only had 22kHz audio, but they had it from the beginning (two channels, two voices each.) It's true that the ST had MIDI ports and the Amiga didn't, but a MIDI adapter for the Amiga consisted of an opto-isolator and a level shifter, because its serial port would do 31250bps specifically for that purpose. Consequently, it was not a high cost item, and a savvy user (much more common in those days) could bash one together on their own.

You could design the most perfect self driving car, but it might not be the right time in the market for it, or it could be too expensive at the time. Kodak designed the first digital camera, but it was also at least 5 years too early.

They could have sold it to someone then, Hollywood maybe. But they didn't. Then they let others (like Casio) beat them to the market with digital cameras — lots of people bought those shitty cameras even though they had seriously low resolution sensors, including me. When Kodak finally did bring out digital cameras, they had literally the worst interfaces, so nobody wanted to use them. Therefore the situation with Kodak is really not at all as you portrayed it.
