    Yeah, and since you are at it, instead of generating webpages with a database for, say, 10,000 products, let builds each of them individually. A database always limits what you can do or how you should do it... Great logic.

    Well, where I live, we have subways, bus, and a great transportation system. I don't need a car, and yet I travel with my laptop. And I see a lot of people doing the same in the bus and subway. So much for sarcasms huh.

    Not only that, you would have to hold the laptop in a ankward position for more than one hour, without getting caught. Then you have the light on the laptop... A bit too much trouble for what it's worth IMHO.

    Well, it's basically the same, except they do it so they can win some ticks 'til the next tick. And god know they can't miss it... check!

    So yeah, it can be on the same level, just not the same field, but some people find that serious enough to put the commitment. Is it healthy, I doubt so... That's another topic

    So true, yet... People in these kind of game want to be in the top 10.
    This kind of game is a competition and every little boost help.
    There's no roleplay, no "action", no strategies, well, there's some, but it's minimal.
    It's for this same reason that the average joe sixpack can't compete in professional game. he can't have all the little perks the professional athletes have.

    It's more akin to a PC apps getting your e-mail address and sending you spam.
    With an IP address, there's not a lot of thing a publisher could do, except if it want to build a botnet.
