...a moot point for me....I have been using xfs for several years, and so haven't tried, nor do I think I need the latest iteration of ext. But like was opined already, it's not ext4 but the apps that need fixing. So it seems at least.
I am also on a Dell Mini 9 albeit with Dellbuntu that came with it. I also have a mac so I can judge what nice feels like, and the Dell is not bad by comparison, ( not an equal either but...) but if you want chintzy plasticky feel do try an Asus eee PC which I also have, running jaunty jackelope and running it well. I bet it would go OK with OSX but haven't the erm 'stuff' to try it.
Does it to me too....logins one after another unless you can click cancel fast enough to dismiss them. Using Firefox 3.0.1 with Ubuntu 8.04 netbook remix on Dell Mini 9. Guess my Mac would do the same since the website appears to be ahem, faulty.
Go to Panera Bread. They have free wi-fi there, too. The food is quite a bit better, and healthier, than all that fried and preprocessed crap that McDonald's dishes out,...
And they don't seem to mind if I sit there for 30 minutes......
...I'll stick with technology I know will work, instead of frustrating me.
That's why I never upgraded to Vista. (zing!)...
This is why I don't do windoze!
Bad enough my cable company can figure out what I watch: I don't want them storing my stuff for me. Even if it's legal to do so, it is not wanted, and I am sure the cable company will figure out how to make mincemeat of privacy once I allow them to store my TV shows and movies. The more you allow others to do for you, the more you let others control you.
The trouble with this plan is that; whether to see or not see adds is MY choice. Not an advertisers choice nor the choice of AdBlock's author. And not the developer of some website who allows ads to be placed. Yes, I understand ad space is sold to pay for the website, but the truth remains, the choice is mine if I want to see them. Maybe if ads weren't animated, weren't made with Flash, and just sat there like a magazine ad I wouldn't block many, in fact I might click on a few that looked interesting.
So when/if I find such a device on my car it belongs to me doesn't it? And I'm not giving it back. And I'm not paying any bill they send me.
If I find such a device on my car, not only shall I not return it nor pay for it I shall feel free to destroy it, as I did not put it there, and do not want it there.
uh, German does the same thing with numbers, so, "vier und zwanzig" Amseln gebacken in einem kuchen. dative case all that? Oh so hard to remember!
Somebody mod this wit way up please. Somewhere between funny and ironic would be good tags too!
Hmmm the plot thickens...do keep us posted!
They shall probably say "duh" not realizing there is anything else. As the chorus harmonizes...."Die Microsoft Die!"
Why would you use a Zune?

...and if you hackintosh a retail copy, it updates itself fine. It's the OEM ones that don't update well.
