I think we could regulate free will. We just need to advance biotechnology and one day we can eliminate the SCOURGE of free will. End free will today!!!
Except it isn't a small minority. Its the majority. In 2010, it was estimated that 58 percent of all workers in the US were earning minimum wage. http://www.bls.gov/cps/minwage2010.htm
Now imagine 60 percent of the population getting a paycut from the current minimum wage ($7.25/hr) to a market regulated minimum wage which would be whatever companies could get away with. And the fact is since so many people are at the minimum, their wages would most likely plummet.
Now consider with all those people stuck at minimum wage, American corporations are reporting record profits and the stock indexes are at near record levels. The companies are making plenty of money, but they sure aren't rewarding the workers with increased compensation for doing such a good job.
The biggest problem with Romney not releasing his tax returns is that it was his father, George Romney, that started the practice many years ago. George Romney said,
In November 1967, Gov. George Romney released 12 tax returns, just prior to beginning his run for the presidency. When asked why he was releasing so many returns, he had this to say:
“ One year could be a fluke, perhaps done for show. ”
If the "hackers" were really clever they wouldn't even attempt to collect the 1 million in bitcoins at all. They would wait until Romney bought the bitcoins and use that purchase to take advantage of the bitcoin market itself. Then when the blackmail collapses and Romney puts the bitcoins back on the market, the price would drop and they could take advantage of that as well. And all with little risk. How successful it might be depends on how desparate Romney would be to prevent his tax returns from being made public.
Google cars have had over 480k miles accidents-due-to-system free. There was one accident when one was rear ended while stopped at a redlight, and another when a human tester decided to override the automatic driving and drive it himself.
Actually a better analogy would be if Wal-Mart accidentally marked the price of Avatar to $1, but the customer service/return desk still saw it priced at $10. So a bunch of people went and bought a thousand copies of Avatar for $1 each and immediately returned it to the return desk for $10 each. While Wal Mart isn't going to prosecute anyone who did it a few times, you can bet they will press charges against someone who did it a thousand times..
Yes. The half that is considered stupid is always the other half of the diagram you are part of. Unfortunately the venn diagram of humanity has perfectly overlapping circles.
Quantum states kind of suck. When I kill a cat I KNOW its dead.

Yes, absolutely. It pisses me off that no one still has a horse and carriage.
“The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”

In that you are wrong. The violin DID evolve. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_violin
you are absolutely right, there is no use putting Descartes before the horse.
once you define that must be a god because belguim, then...
That kind of language is simply inexcusable. No one should use that word.

When everyone in IT knows that a RAID is when the Feds bust in arrest Kim Dot Com and shut down the Cloud.
You are absolutely right. There is no reason to worry about losing your data on the Cloud.
Of course we know what it is. Its the thing we mention to pad our bills.
You would probably say "yes". Then when you crashed his race car you would say, "You didn't ask me if I could drive it well."
HIPAA might be a good place to start.
But a printable Cremation Urn is totally doable.

If only the Ron Paul supporters were able to make it to the convention. If his delegates aren't at the convention, they can't vote for Romney.
