Why, I have one less than 1 ft away from me that works great - must be at least 20 years old. Wish I could say the same for all of the push button phones we've gone through over the years. It even has a proper bell for the ringer.

It's retro, and I love it. The only thing you can't do with it is navigate those horrible menu systems that every company seems to love. You can't do that with a touch-tone phone most of the time, anyway so that's not really a loss. Every home should have one :)

My view on this is that they where private e-mails, his son never divulged his password to his Father because maybe he didn't want his Father to see them.

We must also remember that the people who sent e-mails to his son, wouldn't their privacy be breached if they where released?

All this being said, I hope it gets sorted out soon one way or the other for the benefit of his grieving family. I lost a child with a miscarriage and that was awful enough, I cannot even imagine how bad it would be having watched your child grow. I hope the fact that he died with honour serving his country will come as some comfort to them.

Good... it's finally gone (or going at least). Software that was released in 1996 can be considered extinct in IT terms. Microsoft released an upgrade to NT in 1999, called Windows 2000. In 2003 they updated that with Windows 2003. There's absolutely no reason to still use NT!

Hats off to Microsoft though, yes it had its problems but NT 4.0 was a vast improvement over NT 3.51 and the only other desktop OS offering at the time was Windows 95. Ewww.

I did customer service on the phone for 4 years. Yes, it was hell. On the other hand, you should also know that those QA calls of myself I had to listen to where very helpful in improving my customer service skills. This was bolstered by the fact that I had an excellent QA team. Not all companies are the same but most of the big ones are.

And yes, those calls can be saved for years!

That seems more of a challenge to me than disbeleiving God altogether.

Humans need suffering, it brings out the best in us. 155,000 people being killed was a terrible tragedy and we're right to question God's motives.
