From what I understand, the registers are juggled on assembly, not at run-time. That means that, though the processor physically doesn't have unlimited registers, the assembler does the work of managing the registers for us so well that it seems like you can use an unlimited amount. I don't think it has anything to do with encroaching into any cache ram.
i doubt that they would have broadcast demon tentacle hentai on the air. unless....
anyway, this kinda stuff might be useful in an archive to future generations in case the world WERE to be merging with a dimension of tentacled monsters... yanno, as reference materials.
Genuinely _useful_ videophones - showing you what the other person sees
Ha! So you would be seeing what the other person is seeing. But they are doing the same. So it's like looking at a mirror reflecting a mirror... Oooh, trippy.
I started programming in the 6th grade with Q-BASIC. It's a great program for kids to start with.
But I don't think that trying to teach a whole class of kids is a good thing. I've taken CS at my high school and let me tell you, some people just don't "get it" and too many people abuse the power the computer has to offer.
Everyone says that programming will be a vital skill in the future, but then everyone will be saying "users are losers." Come on, we geeks need SOMETHING for ourselves.

Integrated everything? These guys seem to be going modular in every other direction. It doesn't make sense.
So, extending the analogy used in the article, does this mean that we'll have all the pr0n we could ever want on the X-box? (aptly titled too!)

ahahaha, i guess he got "CANNED!" ahahaha.
i kill myself.
how is it that the palm iiie and iiixe are 100 $ apart, but only 6 MB different? the last time i checked, RAM was practically less than 1$:1MB.
