Receive correction and feedback from others graciously. (Proverbs 10:17, 12:1)
Accept a lowly place. (Proverbs 25:6,7)
Choose to serve others. (Philippians 1:1, 2 Corinthians 4:5, Matthew 23:11)
To name a few.
When people bring up those anti Gay provisions, I bring up
He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7)
as well as some of the more ridiculous ones
You shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shall you mar the corners of your beard.(Leviticus 19:27)
You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together. (Leviticus 19:19)
So, for every passage they can find on homosexuality I can find another one that they've probably infringed upon.
I've had a cell phone "turned off" for about a month one time to find the battery completely drained. Some activity must be going on. Just my personal experience. You don't have to buy my FUD though.
All that is required to be "Christian" is to believe in Jesus Christ.
Everything else about following his lessons and teachings is entirely open to interpretation. They would argue that They are true christians while others are not, just how others argue they are true christians while the kkk are not.
In the case of technicalities, Just because they say they are Christian, DOES make them Christian.
I didn't even know this was a thing until now. My room mate came up to me the other day and casually told me "My cousin thinks we have a very geeky house" and I replied, "How come?", to which he responded, "Well, we've got 4 desktops here in our living room/kitchen, only 2 of which actually get any use. This doesn't include the laptops you and I normally use, and Mike has HIS own desktop in his bedroom. Not to mention the pile of 10 or so Programming books stacked on the coffee table here, and the remaining pieces of that printer we took apart for fun last weekend. We've got posters on the walls with cheeky jokes about what you've learned from video games."
And I told him, "Yeah, I guess its a bit messy, but I mean, I don't know if its all that geeky. I mean, what do other people have lying around?"
To which he replied, "Well my cousin has posters of girls in bikini's along his wall, and many many more empty pizza boxes. His X-box has Modern Warfare 2 in the tray, ours has the movie cube2:hypercube. Where we have our router, he keeps his stereo. There is no computer in visible sight, they are all tucked away into each others bedrooms. His coffee table is littered with empty beer bottles and plastic cups, one of which has a sticky ping pong ball in it. When people come over to play Age of Empires 2, he has chicks over, and probably bones them all."
So I retorted, "Your cousin sounds like a douche"
Anyways. Anecdotes aside, my house has about as much junk as that entire article shows, except for the last 2 pictures (which are of course the most impressive, I can't keep stuff that organized)
Not to mention the security on a mobile device is about as strong as a wet paper bag, I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to infect mobile devices instead of just using the mobile interface.
We all had school issued laptops. So that definately played a big part in being able to run Linux.
However, we used VMWare to launch Fedora Core 4, on some verion of a Toshiba Satelite, on a standalone network for the classroom lab. We were able to mess around learning the ins and outs of Linux off of the one CD they obtained, by handing out the ISO to each student on the first day. I've often wondered if it was legal or not, but I think their method of thinking was along the lines of "If they discover they like it, they'll look more into it and either pay for their own updated copy or go with one of the free Distros".
Come end of semester, the laptops were given back, to be re-ghosted for the next class to learn Linux.
Anyways yes, I think the future is to make the web more accessible in all scenarios. Too many times have I had to pull over and use my phone for google maps, or pull it out to look up a word. But there are some cases where its either just to slow or my phone is too bulky or some excuse keeps me from opening the browser and typing stuff in.
I really think the future is in having an OS off of the LCD and onto projected surfaces, mostly with the goal of being able to access the web.
But the chemical composition of human beings changes that? You do know that your brain simply processes electrical signals right, and that we've made great strides in using man made robotic components to send signals to the brain, thus furthering the notion that we are not all as different as you seem.
Yes - we've heard it all before, they just run programs. What if we manage the impossible taks of reverse engineering all the things that make being human into a mathematical algorithm and have a robot run the script? Is it not a life because it doesn't age?

Yes, IAAL, but IANYL.
Thats pretty pre-emptive of you, you don't even know how much they'd be willing to pay you should you win the case or not!
Well then, we can say these radical muslims aren't really muslims.
I bet they'd love that.
All joking aside, what would they be then?
What do you call a Radical Christian, if they hold the same beliefs but don't act the same way?
I believe that is true.
I've had a cell phone "turned off" for about a month one time to find the battery completely drained. Some activity must be going on. Just my personal experience. You don't have to buy my FUD though.
It is. And yes, they are doing it on a massive scale to pull thousands of records. So how long before a lawsuit?

A Misdemeanor is a pretty light punishment for something such as this.
Not to mention that the KKK are all radical Christians, but we wouldn't want them speaking on behalf of the entire faith, now would we?
Its probably because the Bible has a few lessons on Humility.
Some old processors have a lot of copper in the heat sinks. On the London Metal Exchange looks to be about 3.5 dollars a pound.
You can usually get a good price for those, and the rare earth magnets in hard drives also sell for a pretty penny.
I thought this had all been part of a bet. I'll see if I can find a link on where I heard that.

I think I keep mixing up Fedora and RH because at the time their logos were similar...
Yeah, I used Fedora Core 4 running on VMWare at school and I never had any issues, but ymmv

I wouldn't consider the Culture, history, and local entertainment of your hometown a real vacation though.
What I mean is, when I want to get away from the city - I don't have to leave the state.
Thats what makes Canada such a great place. I can drive for 3 hours in any given direction and not hit another city with a population over 2000.
Makes for great vacationing.
How many bills in Congress were passed because the Russians were doing it during the Cold War?
I don't think that'll happen, IMO.
Now I have something else to distinguish myself from our brothers to the south besides a ridiculous accent and a distinct smell of maple syrup!
I somehow knew this topic would be the butt of every joke.
If I found someone who faithfully followed a religion to that end, I would argue that I don't see why a Robot couldn't have a soul.
I wasn't joking though.

But THIS is why I read slashdot. All that other news stuff is just fluff.
