Moreover, 69 percent of consumers indicated that they would prefer Apple’s iPhone 5 as a gift.
So jewelery and watches are replaced by iPhone. Buyers do not care about how many megapixels has iPhone5 camera, which OS is installed, 3G or 4G... It's just important to have the Apple logo on the device.
Unfortunately for them, this will just create more Android converts.
No, they won't.
People don't care about jail breaking.
Name one legitimate reason to want to jailbreak your phone now days.

I suppose it's because nobody read the whole discussion during meta-moderation. Just clicking on plus or minus is not a point of meta-moderation, my dear slashdoters.
Morals have no place in the business world. If you had your gefilte fish factory and Hitler came up to you offering you enough money to comfortably find yourself a corner of the planet to live without ever working again, would you take it?
If you say no then I congratulate you. You'd be a better man than most of the rest of the world.
Do you really think you would have a choice to sell or not?
If you sell you can go with your money (non-negotiable)
If you don't sell you go to heaven because you are a "better man than most of the rest of the world".
Ok, let me explain something to you and all the idiots who rated my comment as Troll or Flamebait.
For the sake of conversation I will suppose you are just a kid without enough life experience (otherwise you are adult, possibly with children in which case I would recommend you to go and find some medical help).
When you are a responsible parent, you would do anything to protect your children from any possible threat, rational or irrational. Your brain is not shutted down, it's accelerated, you are in the constant state of adrenalin kick. You always try to predict what can go wrong. What Aaron's did pissed me off, but when the Law is not on the side of the families, but support some sick bastards, you have a feeling that nobody can and will protect you and your children.
Now, there comes some kid who think it's funny to make jokes like you did. Don't get me wrong, there was a time when I laughed on similar jokes and even told them myself. But I got my children in the meanwhile and I grow up and I don't find them funny anymore.
Indeed, if the US got nuked by Japan or Germany in WWII, the US might not have invaded other countries after that...
Missing point... Nobody should be bombed! It's simple wrong! Sane people all around the world fight to abolish death penalty but when a "state/government/democratically voted leaders" say: "it's a bad guy/nation" then it's OK to kill a lot of innocent people.
I should add, show me the people in Taiwan or South Korea who are mad today about the US "invasion" there. Both of those countries still seek US military support today against their aggressive autocratic neighbors.
I can't say anything about Taiwan, but I was in Korea and some people there told me that they wait for a day when they will be united with their northern relatives again (similar to West and East Germany).
You mentioned two countries. What is with other invaded/bombed/"democratized" countries? Do they also seek US military support? (The question applies to majority of people, not to some marionette governments)

You don't need to be a native speaker of English to know what they think of women.

An anarchy does nothing to ensure that it is the educated people doing the regulation of the others. Most governmental systems do at least try to put power preferentially into the hands of the competent, rather than in the hands of the rich, the famous, or the people holding big guns.
Most governmental systems do at least theoretically try to put power preferentially into the hands of the competent, rather than in the hands of the rich, the famous, or the people holding big guns.
Practically, the power is in the hands of the rich, famous people holding big guns.
Exactly. Just the same way that you are allowed to sell commercial applications that run on Linux, you can sell commercial applications that run on Cygwin.
You can even sell a commercial application that call GPL programs in the background. Just like, for example, most install programs for commercial apps for Linux rely on tar/bash/perl/gcc/.. to do their stuff, you can for example call scripts from your non-GPL software that do stuff like call ImageMagick to do something.
It's a little bit different. There a two ways how you can sell commercial application that run on cygwin:
1. just as you said, you can develop an application and tell a customer to first install cygwin and then your application on top of it
2. to deliver your application with cygwin dll in which case you need to have Redhat commercial license
GPL doesn't say you're not allowed to charge, just that you have to release all source.
Next time, please read the link I sent before replying. I quote:
A Cygwin License Contract provides you with:
- the ability to distribute your applications without being bound by the GPL. You are not required to provide your applications in open source code form.
- a license to distribute unlimited quantities of Cygwin libraries with your applications.
From what I could see, you can license it so that software developed from it does have a gpl license. Assuming they are the sole copyright holder or have any other copyright holders permission to re-license the code there is nothing wrong with that.
Having various licenses for copyrighted material is not uncommon, for example you can license a Dilbert cartoon for use in a presentation, for use in a presentation and any handouts, and at various licensed size tiers. The BBC licenses some programs for educational and training use as well.
My reply was on:
Redhat doesn't charge for the software.
I just wanted to say following:
1. if we suppose (for each) x (Redhat doesn't charge for x) where x is a software
2. commercial version of cygwin is a software
3. cygwin belongs to Redhat
Only with Wine. All Wine bugs which affect Blizzard games are very fast fixed, hopefully that will also be the case with D3.
Concerning native Linux client, Blizzard doesn't want to publish it. There's a petition http://www.petitiononline.com/ibpfl/petition.html but Blizzard doesn't care. It's cheaper that geeks do the job for them.

Well, basically the whole capitalism-Hitler discussion is anyway wrong because Hitler was national-socialist.

You didn't answer my question. Do you have children?
Did you think before posting this comment? That what you wrote is just sick. Do you have you own children?

I'm not rationalizing it. I'm just saying that it is not automatically worse than any other type of cheating merely because medicine is involved.

Redhat doesn't charge for the software. They charge for the services and hardware they provide surrounding the software.
Not exactly true. They charge for commercial Cygwin usage: http://www.redhat.com/services/custom/cygwin/
That would make Germany insane. I had such a contract.
