All the graphics I have seen represent the HVM memory being much higher or thick that the GPU core part. Is that how it will be? And if so how are they going to make the lid make good contact with the hot parts when they are "recessed"?
I wonder if a building with a built in faraday cage could use specific repeaters inside such cage to, for example, provide cell phone signal. Such repeaters exist. For example I can use the cellphone inside my city's underground subway/tube/metro. I know some kind of repeater is used because such acces has been growing gradualy station by station in the last years.
From TFA: "Yet, the C1’s connector does appear to be fairly compatible, as it uses the Raspberry Pi-compatible, open source WiringPi library for C/C++ or Python developers. The project notes that only pins 37, 38, and 40 are not compatible with the Pi B+, as they are dedicated for analog inputs."
CIncreasing the power and repeating will make no difference whatsoever. If there is no "line of sight" then laser transmission without an optical wave guide (aka a fibre optic cable) is a none starter.
For the purposes of free air laser transmission light only travels in straight lines. That is no gravitational lensing, and no fancy ultra modern optics which basically are of no use in this scenario.
So repeat after me you idiot no line of sight no transmission.
That is true if you live in vacuum...
The athmosphere will scatter the laser light. If you keep increasing power you might detect that light even if you have no direct line of sight... or melt the planet.
For me the real draw for me would be that a poorly written "falling snow" effect written in JS brings all my tabs to its knees.
Oh, and sometimes it doesn't hang ang continues doing its thing slowing down everything. This way the usual alert of a hanged script does not appear...
My 8 month old Win 8.1 install is as snappy as the first day and has only decayed because my SSD has a bug. (SAMSUNG 840 EVO)
I thought my install was getting slow but after a SSD refresh it is almost as snappy as the first day. Has it decayed? Most likely, but when the difference is 1 or 2 seconds at startup you hardly notice.
Now I really like not having 500 friends! I think that with 40 I have enought. I don't want to think what will hapen to those who have to remember the names of hundreds of people, specially of those who have a random pic as their profile.
If the frame of the screen is a problem why not use well calibrated ( i mean well put together ) cheap hd progectors. I know they are not so HD as a 30" but you could instead have a super-ultra-mega large image at a good resolution. Or a not so big image but of super hight definition. The trick would be adjusting the borders, coler or whatever, but that would be a bigger issue with framed screens.
I think that if they do so they won't mind if we ( as in the other western countries) put prohibitions and restrictions of our own in other product importations. We could revive our cloth, electrodomestic, chemical, (whatever) old industries. It might be a bit expensive at first (mostly for those multinationals ) but then we can be sure of better occupation rates. I's a shame that this is only wishfull thinking...
On those old 70s-era home computers, they did much the same thing as the Apollo's computer. Instead of getting a readable error, the machine would just hand you a number (?ERROR 42) and then the user was expected to reach for the manual to discover what that meant. Using 1 byte errors instead of long multibyte sentences saved precious ROM space (which was typically 4K or less).
Isn't this what almost every OS, program, protocol, etc does? And now we have GBs of HDD.... Oh, and the BSoD clearly give you clear and detailed explanations...
Then i will be more than happy to pay to hear you sing in a concert what amounts to several times the cost of a CD and then download your music for free. That is if 1) you are good, 2) you make concerts (lots), 3) I have money... I asume your problem would be nÂ2, obbiously you don't want to work 5 days a week, do you?
This Law is (with non nuclear proliferation) what i like from Spain... the rest is passable or worst than average. Still, it's nice to live here.
Certainly. I hardly make use of pages that take long to render or else. What I dont' like is to wait 1 minute for the browser to start or to block itsels every time it stumbles on a flawed page that contains some bucle ( multitreading would help). Does the new version fix all this?
Thet would make sense if FF was a comercial product with limited resources (money) but beeig opensource anyone can make contributions. What is someone has no idea of what to do to optimize FF but still can improve it's looks? There would be no harm at all.
Not that I'm an Intelligence expert, nor I'm from the USA, but I allways tought that it is better to control the information that you give than to simply stop giving it.
I mean, I can give them the info that I want and then controlling the situation becouse I CAN know what they know and act acordingly and even possibly make them act the way I want. Now they (USA) just don't have any idea about what the others ( the usual suspects ) might know and they (USA) can't influence the other countries (the usual suspects) in theyr weapons devolopment. What happens if the other country (your favourite evil empire, kingdom, country...) just goes overkill and excedes the USS spy tech, who knows?, USA is not what used to be, becouse they (the usual suspects) don't think (information control) that they know that les advanced tech would suffice? Kind of mind blowing isn't it?
Certainly with 4 Gb (actually 3.4 becouse XP 32b) I don't think my problems are with memory (3.0.XX) but with not being able to utilize more than 1 CPU ( with a Q6600 is using 25%) and sometimes it feels sluggish, when using lots of tabs, sound start to stutter, video stops, etc. And it's pretty common to find some poor designed web that uses some script that uses a lot of CPU. On the other hand with using ABP the start time of FF is simply abyssmal and really makes my HDD crazy for like 30s. That is when it soesn't crash ramdomly ( once a week usually ).
Does FF 3.5 solve all this problems? If not it would be a shame. Still, I will continue to use it, becouse ABP.
Who says Microsoft can't include Silverlight directly in the next IE? They wouldn't have to promote Silverlight and they could make it compatible with other browsers and then make Silverlight the defacto standard. I'ts nothing they haven't done before...

What is the point of providing more than one link if all of them point to the same page?
The page is still on google cache. And there is a hidden youtube video that has a demo of the hacked drivers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

No you missed your physics classes.

At least this way you will be able to close the offending page, I hope.

I wonder if the Photos where taken with the women using their work uniform... That this kind of information can be made public is a bit scary

If you are using firefox it will crash after 3 days. I still love firefox but it crashes a lot.
I want a repulsor beam. Fuck antigravity I only want to repel the ground.

Shhh!! Don't type anymore... Do you want to destroy our economy and political sistems? Never told ya truth hurts?

Well, you can always encript the usb stick... Wait, thet kinda defeats the purpose...
Better, you can download the source code for free and pay $99 for uploading it to the app-store.
Good point.
