    I came here to suggest this. I personally plan until the tech matures and the second or third (consumer) generation of this technology comes around before I get one, but it looks like as big a leap forward as the transition from film to digital.

    Yes, but this would probably cut it in half, because it would require more effort on the part of the people uploading it. Why spend valuable CPU cycles transcoding a video? The technical barrier is not really higher than basic uploading, but enough that it would weed out a number of people.

    And we make people use their real names. When we didn't we got too many nut-cases and almost-real bots. As a result, discussion is polite and stays more on topic. The rest of the web can have the lusers with weird handles, suits me fine. Flame wars don't.

    So DCFusor is your real name then? :D That's a pretty awesome name.

    I was under the impression that Effexor withdrawal symptoms were generally accepted as being among the worst of any antidepressant, and that "brain zaps" were a common withdrawal side effect of most SSRI/SNRIs. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSRI_discontinuation_syndrome

    Amen to this! Got Quest for Glory 1 (obviously not important commercial software, but still) running on windows 7 using a virtual XP box in DOS compatibility mode.

    the truth is, good managers really ARE like master craftsmen. But anyone who has ever seen a master craftsman at work knows that they put alot of love into cleaning and maintaining their tools. Unfortunately, far more managers think they are master craftsmen than actually are; this is often exacerbated by the fact that a good employee can easily disguise the incompetence of their manager for a while until the manager does something absolutely ridiculous.
