    Oh come on, that's ridiculous. You can blame Anerica for a lot of things, but not this. Blame our own politicians (I'm Dutch too) who try to solve every problem with more suppression and threats of severe punishments.

    You forget that they themselves will be just as trackable. As a politician I would be very worried about that. For some reason though, they seem to not care, which I find weird. So either they really don't care, or they just have not clue. What do you think it is? ;)

    I get empty pages when I turn to the websites of Optics Express and Optics letters to find the articles mentioned in the 'article' that was linked to. Can someone point me to the pdfs of the articles?

    I never understood why a TomTom or similar device has to display a map of the surroundings of the vehicle. It distracts from the driving and it's useless unless you know where you are, in which case you don't need the TomTom anyway. You only need the voice.

    What has that to do with my remark, or even the conversation here? Never was anything like you just described suggested. Just face it: some people have more than other people. What people do with their money is teir business, not yours. Someone who drives this Bugatti telling someone who drives a Ford Focus to 'stop being jealous' is NOT a total asshole. And there are people in the world who can afford to own a car AND give to charity.

    My mother has an HP laptop with about the same specks as my MBP. It always amazes me how horribly slow Vista is, especially when changing users. Where on the Mac it takes about 5 s to log out, on Vista it seems to take at least 20 s. My mother is happy with her computer, and it works fine except for the snail-like pace with which some commands are carried out.
