Why do my comments disappear after I hit submit for them? I scroll down and can't find them. I finally did several more comment loads and found what I posted. At least with the original site I saw my post appear in the comment section.
Yeah I just tried beta a second time to give it a second chance and there is still way to much white space on here to make this pleasant. Also what looks like a tile bar near the top is giving me Windows 8 fidgets and I'm not enjoying this experience. Would someone please reformat the beta site and reinstall regular/. and just fix it so that it doesn't auto-mod everything on the fly but lets you have some sort of conformation when moderating? That's all I think that really needed fixed.
Keep the setup as is but have a confirm for moderations. I really hate moderating and something happens where I miss select a moderation type for a post and it gets stuck with something I didn't intend to put there.
* Lack of low paying jobs because over qualified people flooded the market. * Lack of low paying jobs because of immigrants. * Lack of interest in going out because of gadget X, Y, or Z. * Price of gas. * Price of cars. * More space at home to avoid other family members. * City life. * Online life replacing offline one. (Friends) * Online shopping replacing brick and motor stores.
Sounds like a large combination of things really and no one specific thing.
A lot of people want to use electronic stores for passwords on their computers. I think that is more dangerous given how connected machines are these days than a piece of paper that can't be hacked in to electronically from a remote connection. Paper is the best way to keep them so long as the paper is out of sight and locked away when not in use.
If they can do skin I am damn well using all the cereal box tops I've been saving up since the 1970's! Finally my hobby is redeemed! X-Ray glasses that work!
I've played my Shield after the updates and things seem to be running nicer then they were before the update. I noticed that things look a little more smoother and crisper even with my finger prints smudged on the screen.
All I know is I bought the device and it's pretty nice for what it is. It may not be the greatest thing but it works and does what it's supposed to do for me. Most other gadgets I buy like the shield aren't build this great and it feels like a really solid device and won't break very easy. I'm happy and the update went in smoothly for me with no problems at all.
If you are expecting a full sized pickup to haul around your gaming fun and end up with a compact car. The ones who said they were delivering the truck have a lot of explaining to do especially if you put money in ahead of time.
Yeah I'm not paying for this either. Please go take another long hard look at Windows XP and Windows 7 and try again thinking "Classic Interface". For further references please see Windows 95, and 98. If you go near ME then we'll have to feed you to the forum trolls.
This is very true. Where I work they went through a round of layoffs and four of the eight people laid off were from IT. It wasn't new guys either but someone with +10 years and two people with 20+ years of service. The one person with 20+ years was damn lucky he got early retirement to escape the layoff. There's also all this talk of outsourcing services that we usually run in house as well.
State universities are being increasingly defunded by states who are facing budget difficulties. State universities are a nice to have for states but you can bet they'll try to defund them any chance they get. Worst of all states can dictate how much tuition state universities charge if they want state money and put a strangle hold on their staff and abilitiy to hire good professors and services for the university. The push has been towards privatization and eventual elimination of state schools thanks to state budget problems.
I tried to mod you funny but the drop down missed to down vote. So I'm posting here cause it didn't register what I wanted and I want to clear that out from your post.

If only developers for some open source projects as well as Microsoft would have realized this and built on their successes. Instead they tried chasing after Apple and some of them really did a poor job of it and worst of all want you to pay an arm and leg compared to the others for it.
Star Trek Online is no Eve by a long shot but it does have that nice and quick aspect your looking for. Doesn't take long to level up and do stuff on there from what I've messed around with. The ground combat aspect of it is iffy I think but it's got it's moments as well.

I like you, you appear to create documentation. Since I don't have mod points I'll give you a +1 awesome for a willingness to make documentation.
So it's a take your pick from...

* Portable folding keyboard, bluetooth
* Portable mouse, bluetooth
* HDMI cable. HDMI flat screens are all around these days.
That isn't that much to carry around in a back pack or brief case.

As weird as it may sound, maybe it will push people to the Ubuntu stuff for phones if Canoical plays things right?

Hello. o/
It's a dogs life even for canines.
Here's one of the whole Earth at a 1:1500 scale. I'd love to see them regenerate this with the biom updates they currently have in the snapshots.

For SkyOS, the interface looks way better then Windows 8.

Damn, I had mod points but they're hiding on me now. +1 funny for what it's worth.
