Most people on this forum think the technology and invention process happens in University Labs. That is true, for about 3% of what makes the world go around. The REAL innovation is carried out by private corporations, or 97% of it because giant amounts of capital are needed to make anything useful. Therefore, most of the technology in use today is not taught, invented or implemented at _ANY_ University.
This has to stop, as most of it is being driven by a military industrial complex.

From what I can tell it is the idea of having all of the routing centralized at one location with nodes which just accept the commands to route certain src and dst streams. It is different because the software defines the routing on a server in a logical representation for centralized management while the nodes are just really hardware appliances.

Most people on this forum think the technology and invention process happens in University Labs. That is true, for about 3% of what makes the world go around. The REAL innovation is carried out by private corporations, or 97% of it because giant amounts of capital are needed to make anything useful. Therefore, most of the technology in use today is not taught, invented or implemented at _ANY_ University.
This has to stop, as most of it is being driven by a military industrial complex.

The entire idea of a currency is that it is suppose to be the holder of intrinsic value, and cannot be meddled with by any single entity to gain an advantage in trade.
Historically, that means Gold and Silver, contrary to what your government tells you, Gold and Silver are the only real money of historic note.
Here are some ways to get more silver and gold:
1) Mine for it.
2) Destroy whole countries and take it.

So today, bankers like fiat currency. They love it. They can enter a number in a computer, and do absolutely no work for any of the money because the society which uses it must accept it to live and work.

From what I can tell it is the idea of having all of the routing centralized at one location with nodes which just accept the commands to route certain src and dst streams. It is different because the software defines the routing on a server in a logical representation for centralized management while the nodes are just really hardware appliances.
It is a nice idea to reduce cost, but in my opinion this is where you would never want to do something like this because it allows way too much power in a central authority.
It would be a Chinese government dream network though and the NSA/CIA would piss themselves that ever happened.

In my attempt to take the day off from coding my latest ULTIMATE Android app, I noticed the BULL SH*T on television.

Although I do not recommend that, as just a little knowledge of Mathematics can save you a great deal of time and effort in engineering activities of all types, including software. I can see why he never finished college.
So, although I am similar in that I personally refuse to get any degree because:
1) You are you are forced to have a bank involved if you want to be educated.
2) You are put into a institution, like other crazy people and forced to think exactly the same way, and if you do not you are considered a failure.
3) You are not required to produce a solution to any problem in your community or society to earn this degree, only provide a solution for corporation and human resource departments to screen others who are not in on the Ponzi scheme of banking. (See #1, rinse and repeat.)
With that being said though, I do attend UW-Madison every once in awhile just to make sure I am not totally cynical, just mostly cynical. :-)
But I already have my "degree" in my opinion as I have my own professional practice, I feed myself with the solutions I come up with that people pay me to solve their computing problems and all the time I am competing with B.S., M.S., and PhD's for the same customers. (Mostly winning.)

I work with businesses everyday that face:
1) Huge Real Estate and tax bills for property.
2) Huge Tax bills for labor.
3) Huge and continuing increases in the costs of electricity, gas.
They will do anything to cut these and remote offices is a big booming market right now.
If you can get rid of a car, extra gas, insurance this is a gigantic plus for employees who work remotely. People work very hard to preserve their jobs when faced with a home office and businesses love the savings.
