It has nothing to do with "poor people should just die if they get sick" and everything to do with taking care of and being responsible for yourself. As per wikipedia(1), Defense is 12% of the 2007 budget, too much? Absolutely, But Medicare / Medicaid is 15%, and Social Security is 7%. So while yes, it's appealing that everybody gets free health care, that's not a "right" enumerated anywhere in the constitution. Nor will it be popular because the federal budget will skyrocket and everybody's taxes will go up, meaning they will be less able to support themselves on the same salary. I see celebraties going on about how they would happily pay more taxes to do this. Congratulations, go do it. You can do this on your own, you are free and able to setup a nonprofit specifically to provide healthcare for the needy.
I have, and universally I've been told if the teacher develops it for use in their classroom, it's the same as if I wrote a program for use by my employer. It's work for hire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Work_for_hire) and the employer owns the copyright.
Northestern US has a high speed train, DC to NYC as I remember. And last I heard, it's more expensive and slower than a plane. mostly because it wasn't given room to run. That's the kicker about bullet trains. The like nice long stretches of straight.
Actually, the certifiers should be setup to police themselves. Make it public that any verify that screws up gets dropped from your browser. Giving incentive for verisign or comodo to try to compromise their competitors.
No, the obscenely high tax on cigarettes has created a gray market for trafficking in non-taxed cigarettes and driven up the business of roll-your own because those are often not taxed.
That's why you use WoL to boot the system one hour before employees arrive, do a virus scan, check for updates, or other maintenance tasks. 1 hour is generally enough time for updates and virus scan. Employees come into a machine ready to go, you get regular maintenance and everybody's happy.
a noble sentiment. I recently volunteered to bring in rootbeer, etc for my daughters science teacher for a lab. She canceled the day of because "It might have alcohol in it". Despite the fact that I told her up front there's around 0.1% alcohol from being naturally carbonated.
That's the truth, Administration gets paid like their private counter parts, but most of the rank and file get squat. Supers of small schools in Indiana can make 80+K/year with 120K/year for medium sized schools so as to attract the best candidates. Then everybody else get's squat.
Speak for yourself, I expect my cats to be cold blooded little killers.

I don't have any of the other links I used when I was learning it, but I do have the source from the maze toy program I wrote while I was doing so.

Dude, it takes a least a year for a linux box to clock 365 days uptime. Sheesh, one might think linux was stable or something.

At my high school, detention meant you got to help clean the school. So yeah, they do it.
Have you consulted a lawyer about this?

I had a pair of cheap Nike sprint shoes in high school like that. I ran mile and two mile in them. I need to see if I can find them again...

Feel free to copy me there. I can't see any other way to effectively do it than to force the companies to do it themselves.
Unfortunately, they may decide to pull a stunt where neither rats the other out.

How about because they've demonstrated themselves to be cocks who'll fuck over anybody they think has something they want.
If it's like most public schools, the reason is ... "I'm too incompetent to do my job"

Godwin for the win!
Nazi germany did to some degree.
In all seriousness humans have always practiced selection in breeding. Just not always in the way you apparently think they should.

x86 does not run natively on 90% of the processors out there. ARM beats it by a bit.
Hrm... will they all be wearing thigh high boots and carry whips?
could be a good time.
So the same as live ones, yes?

That's more a reason to not use it than anything else.
