That is right, LIVE BY THE REQUIREMENTS. That way when something like this comes up, you can point to their requirement and say, "That is what you wanted." Marketers are the worst at wanting everthing, then complaining about the time or changing their minds. My experience is that marketing is what is driving websites so you have to protect youself.

  5. What we really need.... on Freecache · · Score: 5, Insightful

Is a public available squid server. If you put any link through the server such as:

    www.squidserver.com/http://www.doomedsite.com

The public squid will cache a copy of it. On the first access (like when the approver looks at it) It should look at a request and see if it has a recent cache. If it does feed that, if not get the newest copy and promth the user for a refresh or automatically refresh after a set time (5 sec). It will update its cache as the site does. All without having to upload anything. After a few days when nobody is utilizing the cache, it can purge it. Waiting for the next doomed site.

DISCLAIMER: The may be how Freecache works, but I can't get to it
    1) because I am at work.
    2) as the comments suggest it is slashdotted.

I just re-watched that move last week. Still a good movie. The special effects hold up and the compter stuff looks dated but not bad. I am still amazed that the soundtracks from the older movies hold up better than anything. Maybe we should go back to orchestra's for them.

One thing I have always wondered about hybrid cars is how the use of AC affects the mileage. I think AC is left out of most electrics (at lest conversions) because of the power it eats. What about the hybrids? I heard a rumor that AC required the fuel engine to be on whenever used.

I ask because I live in Texas, and refuest to have a car without AC again.

The cat has alread been trained!

If you watch the videos again. You will see that when entering the cat waits for the lock to click before trying to enter the house. This is why Flo uses its paw to open the door when trying to go outside. Watch the exit video. The cat walks up and puts it head right near the door and pauses. When it doesn't hear the click it steps back and then uses its paw to see if the door is open or not.

I thin that is very interesting.
