It was consensual Officer Bill. Last week Jackie came in and asked for KoA gave me money and I game him KoA. This week he came in asked for D3 and gave me money so I gave him D3. There was no rape involved. He actually asked for it. Others begged for it. I'm just their dealer. They know I lace with DRM.
As much as good enough might save power, good enough doesn't cut it once you start using Currency. As long as these stay away from accountants and banks that's fine, but will they is the issue.
The guy submit a request to have the US Supreme Court review a case involving copyright infringement on the basis that it violates the Excessive Fines Clause. Which is at least a reasonable argument, and if accepted would put the RIAA and others under a spotlight that could damage all future cases. However, it is unlikely they will accept it.
Unless they have a boat load of money in Capital Gains that they never paid taxes on, they won't be affected. People like Saverin who have no intention of paying taxes on their Capital Gains wouldn't be allowed back in, or they would be risking arrest as a tax dodger. Also this only affects Expatriates that renounce their citizenship. Expatriates just means that you're living in another country, and many of them still have their US Citizenship and still Vote.
It's already well known that Coffee is good for treating Asthma in a pinch, and I'd say if it can save you from an Asthma Attack then it can surely reduce the risk of respiratory death from that asthma attack. If they remove it's affects on Asthmatics from the study will the benefit remain.
Your problem might sound like a typical bottle neck, and Intermittent issue are always a pain to trouble shoot. Be sure to check your modem when you get slow speeds like that. If you're getting a lot of errors then the issue isn't a bottle neck. The reason I bring this up is that I have Naked DSL at home, and no phones plugged into my home lines since there is no dial tone. However periodically I would be disconnected at and have long periods that my speed was being hampered. When I got a tech out to check they discovered that my house was connected to several other houses as well so even though I had no phones to cause issues they did. It must have been a security system in one of them but the tech fixed the wiring and all is well. If it really is too many people on the line all at once then their probably isn't much that can be done in the short term.
Given the number of times one experts study is tossed out by another experts study why should I trust this 1 study, and what kind of assurances does anyone have that their isn't some kind of error and will be tossed out or ignored with the next study. How am I to know if this study wan't done to justify low level back scatter scanners at air port, and has fallen victim to confirmation bias of one form or anther?

Diablo III Released

The always on DRM is the reason why I haven't gotten the game, and why I'm waiting for the user reviews to stabilize. I'll put up with this kind of DRM in StarCraft only because it is intended for online PvP mostly, and the single player is a novelty to me. WoW is fine with this setup since it doesn't work single player anyways. Diablo is another story, and I objected to Ubisoft putting this kind of DRM in their games and refuse to by them for the same exact reason. As for your claim that this is the first major game I'd object. Assassins Creed is certainly a major title and it has this kind of maliciousness DRM, and for people who bought StarCraft for the single player certainly had the same issue though they must be in the minority. This doesn't look good with the user scores ether. It looks like this is more hated then Mass Effect 3, but we'll see when the scores stabilize.
Your statement is partially false. The Mayans did not kill them selves off. In fact there are still Mayans alive today. Their Civilization collapsed before the Europeans came over, and the Europeans did destroy most of their religious text. They just didn't destroy the Civilization that was no longer there. You're logic is similar to Rome destroyed Israel so their were no Jews around to die in WWII, or Jewish books to burn. I hope you see the flaw in that logic.
Java's main drawback has been it backwards compatibility and the resistance of IT to actually do system updates consistently. It is under the belief that if they update java every java app will break. So they run old outdated version of Java. Patching shouldn't be optional on machines that are exposed to the internet, and yet may IT shops do just that. Java is the problem because it's a single point of failure shared by many systems. If you have 5 java apps they all have the same exploits, and IT fears updating because they don't want things to break. No matter how hard Java works to maintain backwards comparability IT will still be the sniveling update cowards they are.
I remember that ban. Happened twice. First time caught every Asthmatic off guard like my brother. Nothing like the middle of winter where Boise gets Inversions that make our air worse than LA. Then he had to go to the Doctor to get a prescription, and the prescription only last like 6 months at the most. So he'd have to go in again and so on. They lifted the Ban temporarily and put it back in place later. My brother stocked up on the over the counter meds. He still has 1 left that will expire in a month or so. Between the doctors visits and the prescription cast the Over the Counter Meds are usually well worth their money. I even remember him telling the story of the doctor visit "So you think you have Asthma?" was the first question. My brother didn't take that question too well since he's had asthma his entire life and at the time he was 26, I think, and had better doctors diagnose him than the quack that he had to get a prescription from.
Yes the Technology exists, but there was a reason why the Virtual Reality Headset was canceled by Sega, and it had nothing to do with its financial problems. Head mounted displays are as bad if not worse for your eyes then the 3D Movies. Prolonged exposure to unnatural 3D images can cause more then just a headache. I'll agree with you that there are other technologies though that have existed for a few years that put this cylinder "3D" to shame. If Sony or anyone can make this practical then that is the way to go.
I wouldn't say so much switching as just using. I have nice broadband at home and I have a data service on my Android, and the same goes for my Boss and Co-workers iPhones. There's no way the 3g and 4g service beats my home line yet, but each time we use our phones data plans to pull up a web page it's going to mess with Akamai's averages. If my phone starts going faster then my home line then I'm upgrading my home line.
Why does this argument keep popping up the the logical counter does not. Have you considered that the higher the more intellect you have the lower your fertility rate needs to be to support the species. On top of that someone of intellect would know that having a kid they cant support in survival would be foolish, and would put more effort into making sure the 1 or 2 kids they have do have survive rather then have 10 kids and hope 1 or 2 survive. Hence lower fertility rate would be supported among that group. Conversely the stupid who get themselves killed a la Jackass only have the option of a high fertility rate to help propagate their genes. Natural Selection does not mean what you think it means because you're putting too much emphasis on Fertility, and Nothing on Survival. The argument really is Quality vs Quantity, and BOTH are perfectly viable in the natural world.
I know some crazy people like to claim that Humanity stopped evolving because of our technology, but only fools actually believe it. We've just be evolving to use our technology better. Unless you stop random mutation though some sort of Genetic Purity process their will always be Evolution.
I've never understood this, but Australia has been ripped on in the software side of things for a couple of decades now. Their is a Reason Nintendo was found guilty of Price Fixing. I thought originally it was just the Gaming Industry plotting against Australia, but from what Adobe is doing It seems more like it's the entire Software Industry that has a bone to pick with that little Island.
Do you know the difference between the Frames in a Video game and the Frames in Film?
The 24 fps frames in film are all Fluid Frames. Games use Still frames since they have no natural motion blur, and when you increase the frame rate you start to improve the blur by overlapping frames. This is the same Audiophile Videophile BS because your eye sees frames at a far lower frame rate, but utilizes the blur in interpret motion. Reducing the blur in the frame by increasing the frame rate will screw with the motion of the image.
Try reading a book on the subject. The entire reason they went to 48fps was to try and reduce eye strain during 3D movies. They seem to have forgotten that a 72 refresh rate with a 24 frame rate will do the same thing. Frame by Frame the 48fps will look better when it's still, however, the 24fps will look more natural to your eye when it's playing.

If only they were impatient, and full of hubris.
Fixed that for you AC. Intelligence is not one of the virtues of a Truly Great Programmer.

I totally agree. This Judge is actually competent. Can he be promoted to the Supreme Court?
So they have 1 of the Virtues of truly great programmers.

Yes, two eunuch over weather or not they should have children in the future.

But according to MBR measurements we are the center of the Universe.

Are you sure that's not what was intended? They don't want Java Running on Mobile platforms without a licencing fee collected.

Feel free to stop watching films then since they all run at a refresh rate 2 to 3 times their frame rate to reduce eye strain.

As Evil as MaBell was they still pumped plenty of money into Bell Labs for frivolous research into fiber and lasers.
