    I personally think that domain name importance is going down - I don't type in cocacola.com anymore, I type "g coca cola" and let google find it for me.

    O.K. For those not up on your Latin and French, please note the following from Wikipedia:

    De jure means "by law" (Think de jury)


    De facto means "in fact" (Think de fact)


    Du jour menas "of the day" (Think de hour)

    Because it is very easy to set a rule that destroys everything from a top level domain, and it is a simple fact that a large number of .biz addresses are from spam "businesses."

    I'm sorry you're a innocent causuality in this namespace war, but we have to live in the world we have.

    So, Mr. Al.Cx, I assume that you are a happy resident of the Christmas Islands?

    I guess not. Your nameserver is in Scotland, and the Christmas Islands are near Australia.

    Then why the @#@##$@%##!@$#^$#&#$% do you have a .cx domain?

    At least bombcar.com is my "somewhat" industrial site (no consulting now), and bombcar.net is for my networking. :)

    These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

    The "+gtk2" means that Mozilla is using gtk2, so it might look different if you only had Qt and KDE installed.

    But it runs, but mainly because it is willing to do a LOT of things for itself, that it should be willing to let a standard Toolkit do. But there is no standard toolkit. That's why things like file dialogs are different between OpenOffice.org and Mozilla and Konquerer and Nautilus, etc.

    Ah, well..... We'll still win because there is no way to make windows 1337. :)

    I'm waiting for the virus that, in addition to spreading itself, will email out random Word docs found on the hard drive. This is more than a nuisance, it could potentially damage 1000s of companies. Imagine a Word doc getting out that contained corporate secrets.

    I believe either the Melissa virus or Sircam already did that.

    Can you image how hard it was to actually sell the London Bridge? Probably the only reason the Arizona guy got it was that everyone else thought it was a scam.

    Also make sure your auctions ends around 2 PM PST on a Sunday. This makes the bidding much more energetic and exciting. If ends during a workday, it'll go for much less. :)
