    Eh? I am not being sarcastic. The TV shows from UK are absolute artificial crap and the written material is wordy, high handed and lacks realism. For me, other than a few episodes of Top Gear, all other UK media sucks.

    It'll make it interesting when Slashdot has to start putting up stories from niche websites instead of mainstream if they all go behind paywalls.

    The community will ensure that stories with those links never get modded up enough to appear on the home page.

    As a side note, I have not found any UK media worth reading or watching. US media is the best anyway.

    Having 3 x 22" 1680x1050 Dell monitors side by side playing Hawx or WoW or any other game is absolutely stunning. .

    Microsoft has been handing private data for 30 years without privacy fiascoes like what we saw with Buzz. Google thrives on your data and using it to make money. The only difference between google and fb is that google hasn't sold out on your data yet.

    I am as curious as the next guy. I install every Ubuntu release, and some other distros.

    My objection to the 6 month cycle is this- If you were running a business would you like to put your money on supporting an OS that changes every 6 months?

    When will Linux move from nerd world to the real word, and when will developers be confident about spending their careers on it? If this is supposed to be one of the best distros, I think that goal will never be realized. There is literally nothing innovative in this release. Unless you wank off to boot times, i.e.

    The 6 month iterations are plain stupidity, IMO. Hardly anyone wants to "upgrade" that often, and when it's out, we all realize that it's the same old crap in a different color.. No real usability improvements.
