2. Something like Adblock's definitions (Easylist etc), for Noscript would work well but it would need to be maintained. This, in my opinion is one of the main reasons why noscript hasn't become popular. People need an effective starting point after installing noscript.
3. Not really; the key word there being "selectively". Something like a checkbox control might work better. There are many sites with 10-15 scripts and managing these becomes a bitch with so many clicks
I really was fine with Noscript as a concept, but there are three very serious flaws I find:
1. Noscript cannot be turned off completely unless the extension is disabled. Even if you allow all scripts globally it still filters some stuff. That's a huge annoyance when I just need to open a site fast, that I need to disable and restart
2. Noscript doesn't have ready made reliable whitelists. e.g. something that blocks all web analytics and harmful scripts, and allows all else.
3. An easy way to enable multiple scripts selectively together.
Are you connected with Google perchance? I am finding it hard to believe that wives and mother in laws who have "potlucks" can figure out the purpose of wave, let alone add Applets, Maps and pictures. Basically, no offense but I think you're lying.
Google wave is software that constructs a use case that doesn't exist. That's why it's a failure. I wonder if there's anyone who has replaced their email with google wave.
You seem to imply that the iphone is expensive? It is the same price, or cheaper than many Android phones. And there are free apps and games, if you don't want to spend on the paid ones. The net prices are roughly the same for smartphones. I think the problem is that you're cheap. Nothing in the world is cheap enough for you.
1. People prefer itunes because of the sync, apps, podcasts and other cool features. All at one place. You don't get that over a standard USB connection. 2. iphone supports multitasking. The rest of your point is irrelevant to 99% of the population. 3. The price of a 32GB microsd is around $100, which is the difference in cost between the 2 iphones. And it's a small cheap thing you need to worry about, less rugged than inbuilt flash. 4. The app store is successful because it's closed. Devs like any other people, like to get paid. Wake up and try to understand the world works.
You need to have realistic expectations from a device that is at least 5 times smaller and lighter than your DSLR and can do millions of things more than just taking pics and video. A DSLR is not even worth the extra bulk over a P&S for 95% of the general populace.
What's so good about this? Getting a monitored net connection and a few bucks that will make NO difference to your life; and in the bargain throwing away your privacy? And trusting people who should never be trusted? Did you ever hear of "Never talk to the police?"
1. If you use it you'd know

christ..
Sounds a lot like the sample waves Google put up?

You choose blackberry over an iphone and claim it's better? LOL! Nah, you're just cheap, that's what it is.
Probably because it became immature crap after the first season?
Sycophant, much?
Jeez dude, you should be posting that as Anonymous..
When you turn it on, you conveniently receive all the ads first, before your printed page.
repetition, much?
You seem to imply that the iphone is expensive?

The manufacturers never claimed any of those things. Your point is stupid.
You realize that without proper proof no one is likely to believe the crap you're spewing, right?
How do you know XP doesn't do that? You've got the source code for it? Hm?
Why is this modded up? Is it fashionable to be ignorant? A simple web search would have yielded the answer.

You might want to rethink that. I know many people who like ads and do not disable them. They know about adblock plus and the like.
Not quite right. Over a period of time, the gas will evaporate, so the denominator will be a number>0
I have never wanted anything less.
That's funny, even I thought you were quoting the Venus project.
what about people who watch youtube all the time? Wouldn't that be like 20 megs peer video?
