Because the purpose of a plane is not to kill unlike this particular virus which only objective is to. Anyways great analogy as planes are viruses... o wait.
My classes in college and HS always encourage women and girls to program. The guys there don't care if you're a guy or a girl either. Now that I'm in the working world, it's still the same views. The women simply lose interest or don't think this is a "girls" field to be in.
+1 if I could. RNs can gather a lot of practical knowledge as years goes by but that's about it (That's why they're RNs and not doctors). Doctors (ER, Internal, whatever) are much more specialized and more experienced and that's just the fact they're in school for 8 yrs (2 yrs in rotation) and then residency for like 5-6 years. Basically and I'm oversimplifying this but its like being in training for over 7 years.
MS can continue to support XP but that only encourages usage of an ever growing outdated OS or MS can stop (which they most likely will) and the corps/business/whatever will have to figure out a way to upgrade and they most likely won't upgrade since people's mentality is if it works, keep using it!
sales of digital copies are selling well? Who would have thought? Hopefully we can bypass the middle man completely (mainly the publishers) and leave it to the distributors and the artist (plus maybe marketing or whoever is needed)
Maybe but I doubt the demand is there since those people work from dusk till dawn in the fields and rarely have time to look at a machine.
On their free time they socialize with each other (their neighbors, relatives, whomever) they won't be spending time at a computer.
areas like this, I think they have their priorities wrong. I have been to 3rd world countries and the last thing the people there care about is internet access and a computer. They care about finding a job, getting food and feeding their families.
Even if they did implement the technology, that's the easiest part, maintaining and keeping it running for years or even decades is the largest issue.
style. Mac is doing well because it has a physical medium that people can recognize. Then from there people can decide if they like the software or not.
Of course when you look at an average computer from X company (Toshiba, Sony, etc) you think Windows.
Why is a DDOS illegal, how is different that a RL protest outside a shop/factory ?
Because IRL you're not allow to obstruct people from getting in or out the buildings.
" I could be another good example of why an IP address does not identify a human being"
I think this is a pretty bad example since you had your network open and the IP/MAC was yours so it's your responsibility.
Because the purpose of a plane is for transportation unlike this particular virus which only objective is to kill.

Yes because people who don't have internet isn't surviving right now.... o wait...

especially in certain websites, so it's not odd that the media following everyone else to also.

Other companies also calling in loses like Sharp and Best Buy. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-04-11/sony-sharp-shares-plunge-on-record-annual-losses-tokyo.html Is the point of posting this type of news just to bash Sony or a company that you like to hate?
is impervious to malware even though they know it's not, lol.
I guess to be specific, which OS desktop/laptop is used the most all over the world than is the point I think most usually think off.

Please go to one of these countries instead of making ignorant remarks. They need basic needs that we here take advantage every single day.

Is biased towards themselves? That's news!
And where users don't read the original article and put on tin foil hats.
^ Pretty much this. A woman friend thought that was normal to just dislike a person for no reason and get into little fights.
Leaves to aggressive behavior. See what I just did there?

So a gun doesn't kill someone but the person holding the gun does. You own the IP address and the MAC.
She still did a lot more than you or I ever done to help anyone in a life time.

lol I love that movie. Definitely a classic and a must watch.
Keep the FPS > 60 and I'll be happy because in the end, it's a game and I care more about gameplay
