That's interesting because I know and work with hundreds of people who own iPhones and none of them view or pass it off as a status symbol. In my experience, the only people who make it out like anyone thinks an iPhone is a status symbol are butthurt Fandroids who think everyone should only buy the phone they approve of.
The difference is, the Kuerigs (or at least the older models) don't have DRM, don't require Kuerig branded cups, and can do more than coffee. I've seen tea and cocoa K-cups, because basically, the operation is the same - run hot water over contents of K-cup.
Good luck with the assembly language part. Have you tried optimizing in assembly language in a modern processor? Out of order execution and compiler optimizations for it make compilers often more efficient than good assembly coders.
This is bullshit. It's easy to beat a compiler at SIMD optimization as auto-vectorization is still mostly universally crappy. If you don't want to write straight up assembly you need at minimum compiler intrinsics because without them the compiler will almost always just generate shitty, slow scalar code.
Huh? That's an interesting alternate history. iOS and Android were two and one years old respectively by the time webOS first came out. Your post seems to falsely imply that webOS was older than them when it wasn't.
How is difficult? You click Settings->Notifications. Scroll to app, tap it, swipe Allow notifications to the left to disable. It takes a whopping 5 seconds. I'm sorry that you're functionally retarded but even my 4 year old nephew can and has done it.
But Servo is written in Rust!! *wank* *wank* *wank*
Oh wait, no one actually cares other than langauge hipsters.
Apple has sold more than 100 million of iPhones a year since 2012. That would hardly qualify as a "niche" customer base.

Was that supposed to be funny?
The Aspergers is strong in this one.

Everyone of these points is untrue.

Yes that would be providing evidence.
So then why are you incapable of providing even a single citation?
Which journals, which volumes and which specific studies?
All the ones I've ever received have never required a PIN to use.
It's not "technically" public. Any person in the world can view and download the same data as it IS public.
I already have been seeing future Firefox for years. It's called Chrome.

It's the lingo you get when you let UX designers go crazy.
For example, no particular corporation was supporting C++ initially
Bell Labs was a corporation last time I checked.
And how many apps are actually written that way?
How do you not have control? Don't update to iOS 11. There's your control.

Pebble was praised for its designs? Amongst what group of people? All I ever heard was people mocking their designs.
Was his name BeauHD or EditorDavid?
That post probably drove a huge number of those original sales .
Maybe in an alternate universe where Slashdot was still relevant. Funny joke nonetheless.
Punishing the people who keep backing this junk is the best way to prevent them from perpetually falling for these dudebro tech scams.
The idiots are the VCs who keep funding these incompetent, dudebro startups with 10s of millions of dollars.

There's no settings page for notifications? lolwut? Notification Center has been around since iOS 5 released 6 years ago.
0/10 on the troll. Try harder.
