Besides all the useful ports being blocked and trying to get by all the isp "tech support" - why don't you want our firewall? questions, you're looking at a big security issue.
If you don't have end user level security and leave it up to the isp, script kiddies have less work to do. They will hammer on the isp till it cracks then they'll have free access to all their unprotected customers.
Firewalling needs to be at the OS level and on by default.
Ended up in a small, small place as the only coder with the boss from a galaxy far far away. They should really warn people about to enter the field about people and jobs like this.
I'd try to describe him to you, but it would take too long, I do keep a online journal of my adventures at NfoCipher.org
River raid was cool, there was one game - something like StarFighter that came with a button pad in the box. That was super cool, but my console kept frying the thing. ended up with 6 dead button pads from that. Anyways, super cool game.
I sunk 2 years of my free time into the game. Had something like 150 days played time (that's 24 hours x 150) and all it got me was a poorly rendered avatar that could still die to the lowest level monsters if left alone for 5 minutes. Ended up selling the account after I came to my senses. Got my money back on the software costs and monthly fees, but I'll be on my death bed wishing I hadn't spent all that time wasting away playing EQ.
SCSI is still so expensive and an aging technology. The idea is to get more out of the cheap IDE drives.
So... basically the solution is to kill all the normal users. (starts building killer robot army)

Manoman, I got a dumbass boss for ya. Worthy enough to have a website mostly dedicated to him.

1. What is your name?
2. What is your quest?
3. What is your favorite color?
Then you may pass..
